Mientras Roque sigue jugando a ser el inalcanzable.🤭 #nochoice #we/need/more/good/doctors.
I visited the front desk at this office , since I had an appointment with a specialist who practices in the same space … Roque MD’s front desk receptionist took my license held it for what seemed unreasonable, when I asked if the specialist I came to see which I asked for by name was in the office !!she returned my license without any courtesy to simply say “” he is over there” meaning she held my license needlessly since my appointment was never with Roque MD, when I asked for the specialist by name she refused to direct me to the proper counter but instead preferred to be rude.
My 78 yr old mom has been a patient of Dr Roque for over 13 years. After being diagnosed with a serious illness 3 yrs ago, I’ve been accompanying her to the majority of her medical appointments. I accompanied my mom to an appointment today to review test results since there has been a change (for the worse) in her condition. During this visit, she questioned the diff between her last two test results and he mentioned 1 specific test was high in a previous test so my mom and I questioned why she was never told. His response was everything’s fine now so don’t worry about it in a dismissive manner. I questioned him again because of the way he responded and he became very angry, sighing several times out loud, looked up at the ceiling, then said “I’m done” and walked out. My mom and I were shocked because we were just asking questions. He yelled at me stating he didn’t like my attitude and I just ruined the relationship he’s had with my mom over the years. He asked me to leave and he will continue the visit with my mom. I asked if their interaction could be recorded because she will not remember everything discussed (one of the changes in her condition). He walked out of the examination room then returned a few seconds later. At that time I asked why he was behaving in this manner. I felt so bad for my mom that I even apologized to him for whatever I said that offended him even though I didn’t do anything. He continued to say he did not like my attitude also stating I’ve ruined the past years relationship he had with my mom and I needed to leave..all because “we” not just me asked him about specific results he failed to mention previously. I asked again for the interaction with my mom to be recorded, he walked away from us and never returned. We had to leave the office without receiving all of the test results or making him aware of the changes in her condition. It’s been a few hours since todays appointment and my mom is still in disbelief of what transpired earlier. He seems to become very sensitive when asked to explain test results and I believe he became annoyed because he was being held accountable for not disclosing previous test results accurately. We now have to find a new PCP for my mom, which she’s very nervous about.

Do not go there the Office does not know what their doing. Especially the billing and insurance Department.
This office and staff are terrible. Very unprofessional as well as rude. My advice is keep searching. Their reviews speak for themselves.
Dr. Roque is the best doctor in town. In order to see him, simply request to stay on his schedule and he will see you. I understand that he is only one guy and has a life like the rest of us, so the PA's are good as well. Ask NICELY and the staff is willing to help to the best of their abilities.
Most well rounded doctor in town. Will listen to you but also tell you how it is. No BS at this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
