I truly can’t say enough about Kimmie Martin ARNP. She is kind, smart, compassionate and warm. She will treat your children as if they were her own. She listens and will take the time to discuss your concerns with out judgement. If you are looking for a practitioner that will talk to you, instead of at you about your child’s medical care, look no further. Kimmie is the absolute best in brevard. My older son has been seeing the doctors in this office for years, but my infant got wrongly diagnosed by one of the doctors. I took him to the emergency room right after our appointment and he got admitted into the hospital. PARENTS DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR. Kimmie is THE BEST. She takes such great care of my kids and truly listens to me and my concerns. When she opens the door my kids smile from ear to ear. Although, getting someone to answer the phone is slightly challenging.
Dr Magrid is not someone I would ever recommend. I stopped taking my daughter there after she was misdiagnosed without the dr even entering the room. Seriously, she leaned against the door jamb. This was years before Covid. She was given an inhaler for a condition she didn't have. Ashley does have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardic syndrome) though. Her heart rate would race just because she stood up. She got dizzy and short of breath. The albuterol in the inhaler the doctor prescribed exacerbated her heart condition so thanks for that. And every time we were there the doctor treated me extremely rudely. Especially if I asked questions. I always felt judged. If Dr Magrid was an excellent doctor I could live with that but considering I can’t think of a single occasion that she actually helped, forget it. Their office still calls once in a while even though my daughter is now an adult and we haven’t been there in years. Summary; avoid Dr Magrid is not someone I would ever recommend. Dr Farid has taken care of my children since we moved to Melbourne. When my son was 28 days old and required surgery his compassion for me in the moment he told me was immeasurable. Every step of the way he has guided us and truly cared about my children and their health. My daughter is 19 and hopes she never has to change doctors.
How can you adequately thank the doctors, nurses, and office staff enough for helping your kids when they’re feeling their worst, and their best? Dr. Farid first started seeing my now 17-year-old when she was a baby. She was born a micro-preemie with very fragile lungs, and because of his expertise in preemies and neonatology, I was immediately at ease with him. Over the years, every time she got sick, which was often, he would tell me to call anytime, day or night. Once, he even came into the office on a Sunday when we had to lifeflight her for treatment in Miami. He ran the IV himself when all of the hospital staff had difficulty finding a vein. He waited until 2:30 AM, when the helicopter finally arrived. I have never seen this level of commitment in a pediatrician, before or since. My elder daughter and my younger one now see Kimberly Martin, ARNP, and we couldn’t be happier with her expertise, kindness, and thorough approach to pediatrics. My kids absolutely love the doctors, nurses, and staff at Florida Pediatric Group. If you come to this office, you will find the same high quality service in health care. There are no words to express my disappointment with this office. They refused my daughter medical care even though we were already in the office. She was experiencing chest discomfort while she was at school and I tried calling them and was on hold over 30 minutes. The were more concerned with going to lunch and actually told me I had to leave the office because they were going to close at 12. It wasn’t even 11 and their lobby was empty. The front desk was extremely rude I was able to speak to the manager and she said it was up to the provider. It was the worst experience ever to be turned away with a sick child. There is no compassion here across the board from front office to back office. I would stay away and this is coming from someone who works in the medical field. Believe me I tried to understand but honestly there is no justification this was simply put medical neglect. I have already reached out to her insurance and issued a formal complaint. I advise all other parents that have experienced similar issues or problems to do the same. I am researching on how to complain to the medical board and will post on this as soon as I have an update. Unless you have an entire day to sit in a room waiting for someone to see you then do not make an appointment with this pediatrician. Sat in a room forn2 hours and no one even checked on us. We walked out and the staff didn't even blink an eye and my son still has not been able to be seen by a doctor, now we have to wait to make another appointment with a different pediatrician. First of all we absolutely love kimmy! She has been such a blessing for our little girl. Last summer she experienced an extremely high fever and we were so concerned. Kimmy new right away what it was and treated her. And recently our son had his circumcision done by dr. Farid. I had a concern about it a few days later and dr. Farid dropped his schedule to see my little boy right away. He truly cares about children and I am so grateful for Dr. Farid and his team! First of all we absolutely love kimmy! Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
