Sadesh Kumar's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sadesh Kumar is a kind and caring dentist. I started my dental implant procedure on April 4, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. When you walk in the front door, you are walking on a red carpet, then you are greeted by wonderful staff at the front desk. When I got taken to the procedure room, a wonderful assistant took me back and treated me with nothing but kindness. The anesthetist was great, I didn't even feel the needle go in the back of my hand, now that is awesome. He told me that I would start feeling pretty good in a few seconds. Boy did I - LOL. Next thing I knew I was having temporary implants put in. My bad teeth were out and new temporaries were in. I only had the lowers done. Couldn't afford the have both uppers and lowers done. I finally left a bit after 8:00 p.m. I left with a couple of prescriptions, one for pain and one for infections. My lower jaw was totally numb and I put ice on it as order by Dr. Kumar. I took the pain meds and the other medication as ordered. The next morning, I only had a bit of numbness, but no pain whatsoever, I also had no bruising or swelling. When my mother had it done, it looked like someone had beat the living daylights out of her. She had it done in Springfield, IL. I didn't take anymore pain medications since I wasn't in pain and I don't like taking them for fear of getting addicted. Anyway, I went to a follow-up appointment and they were surprised on how well I was tolerating the implants. I did have to have a bone graft as one area wasn't healing. But, eventually it did heal. I had few prototype teeth installed, each made with stronger material. At first, I had to eat nothing but very soft foods. pureed soups, pudding, applesauce, yogurt, etc., but as time went on I could eat chicken, ground beef, etc. Finally when a year almost was up, I had a computer image done on my whole mouth to get the permanent teeth done. Between me being out of state and him having emergency appointments, I finally got my teeth. Thank you Dr. Kumar for making it so I can finally be able to eat without being in pain! My husband and I became patients of Dr. Kumar's in 2016, when we moved to Melbourne. The care we received was so outstanding that we've recommended him to many of our friends and even family. My mother, who has had terrible dental experiences her whole life, decided to try him based entirely on my recommendation. Her review is below: "While I was visiting family in Melbourne, my daughter shared her raving kudos of her dentist, Dr. Kumar, and his team. I decided to try him out and called to make an appointment with Dr. Kumar. My first experience included being impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment and the very nice & gentle technicians. Afterwards, Dr. Kumar reviewed the X-Rays, checked and explained thoroughly why I needed work on one molar and nothing more. He is soft spoken and gentle in his conversation and was willing to take the time to explain everything. I mentioned that I have return tickets in a week and if he can finish the work by that time I can get the work started that day. Dr. Kumar immediately called his supplier/contractor for the items and arranged everything for me. He personally checked on the supplier a few times and made calls to rush the shipment before I had to leave. Additionally, I did not have insurance. When I told him I cannot afford the quoted price he clearly demonstrated that he cares more for the patient than the money. Over my lifetime, I have been to many dentists in several states. But I have never met anyone who is as good as Dr. Kumar and his team. The efficiency of the staff, the care of the Doctors, not only Dr. Kumar but Dr. Tran as well, was beyond my expectations. At that point, I made the decision to fly to Melbourne from Houston for all of my future dental work."

From the moment of walking through the doors, I was treated like royalty. The front staff were very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Kumar is a phenomenal dentist and did amazing work on my two implants. I have been to several dentists throughout my lifetime, and Dr.Kumar is one of the most humble and caring dentists I have ever been to. My entire family will be going to Dr. Kumar in the future for all of our dental needs. I highly recommend Dr. Kumar and his staff. Dr. Kumar and the staff at Wickham Dental Care are beyond amazing. He is very detail oriented and really cares about helping you achieve a perfect smile. It is very nice having a doctor that will go the extra mile and Dr. Kumar always does. The team works very fast and are very efficient in helping to improve the lives of their patients. I felt so comfortable in the office and during my procedures. It is evident that Dr. Kumar and his staff want to help you as much as they can and give you the best experience possible. After receiving my implants, I now have more confidence than ever before and it is all thanks to Wickham Dental Care. I traveled far to be in their care and it was worth every mile. Dr. Kumar and staff are by far one of the best dentist practices in the Brevard County area. I highly recommend Wickham Dental Care. I've been going to Wickham Dental Care for years.

Front desk staff don't wear masks. No COVID screening performed. Cleaning from Carlos was great though!

I have been going to a dentist all my life. I am a retired engineer and have found a truly gifted dental surgeon in Melbourne, Florida. DMD Sadesh Kumar, a Doctor of Dental Medicine, that does dental implants, periodontal procedures, regular and specialized dentistry. I was in need of a dental implant. Since implants are complex and expensive, I sought the counseling and the estimates of three dentists. I found Doctor Kumar to be my best choice and his estimate was fair and reasonable. He impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. He took the time to discuss the implant procedure with me. The level at which Doctor Kumar cares for his patients was beyond what I had previously experienced. He makes an extra effort to care for his patients and puts their needs first. He attended to me and other patients, working well beyond his normal work schedule, working past closing times and weekends, to take care of us. His office, Wickham Dental Care, has state-of-the-art equipment. Equipment and procedures more advanced than what I have seen in other dentist offices. His office is staffed with very friendly, knowledgeable, professional people. It was enjoyable to be in a friendly environment with people that cared about my well being. I would recommend Doctor Kumar to my friends and family. My wife and I have both received excellent dental care from Doctor Kumar over the past months since becoming his patient. Dr. Kumar and his staff are the best! I have a genetic disorder of the teeth known as dentinogenesis imperfecta. It made my teeth discolored - and almost transluscent in appearance. In addition to the less than appealing look they were softer and prone to wearing down quickly resulting in numerous extractions over the years. In fact, I had so many extractions, eating was becoming difficult. When I saw Dr. Kumar he took the time to understand my issues. He took the time to lay out my options. He worked with me. Ultimately, I decided on the All-on-4 procedure. I could not have made a better decision - nor a better dentist to do it. Dr. Kumar and his staff have given me the ability to eat anything I want, and to smile from ear to ear to show how much I enjoy it! It was life changing! Dr. Kumar is caring, thorough, completely knowledgable, and he stays up to date on the constantly changing technology in dentistry. His office is new and modern as well. My experience with Dr. Kumar has changed my life for the better. I went from dirty looks and being told I can’t be a manager because of my teeth. I am now a store manager and smiling all the time. I had really bad infections inside my mouth and my teeth were breaking and falling out. I entered the contest called Give Veterans Back their Smile and I was lucky enough to be picked. The whole process has been a little tough but any questions or issues I’ve had, I’ve been able to be taken care of. Taking my old teeth out was painful, the infections were so bad that he wasn’t able to do local anesthesia. When I woke up from the surgery I was already happy with just the dentures. Now I can’t wait to get the implants. Dr. Kumar and his staff have been amazing and caring and the best. I used to be scared of dentists and now I will only recommend him and his staff. From the entrance, it starts off with the "Red Carpet" treatment every visit to Dr Kumar's office. He and his staff make me extraordinarily special ! Even though he has a beautiful lounge filled with refreshments, I never had to wait for my appointment. Dr Kumar did a phenomenal job tweaking my smile with a customized Invisilign program.
