When my son was 9 yrs old he developed adhesions to his colon. Dr. T saved his life, for which we are forever grateful!

in January 1989 Dr. Toufanian saved the life of my 4-year old daughter. When we brought her to the emergency room with severe abdominal cramps, the team of doctors there were puzzled and debated the prognosis. Dr. Toufanian was out with the flu, but came in the next morning, took one look at my daughter and declared: Appendicitis! It's ruptured and we must operate immediately! He was right and his operation saved her life.

Dr. Toufanian perform two procedures on my son when he was only 2 and 4 years old and I have never had an issue with him. I know that there was construction being done to the building at one point but the office has always been clean and the staff is very courteous. Dr. Toufanian is all about business because he has a lot of children he needs to see on a daily basis and he is very nice and good with kids. So I can only speak good things of him and his staff because of the experience I had. After the second procedure my son has been good and has had no issues. Now I have a 3 month old and I am having an issue with him and I will be taking him to Dr. Toufanian as well with no hesitation.

This was a pre-surgical visit for my 7 year old child. I had never met this doctor before today.Facility is run down and has the appearence of a free clinic. In the waiting room is an advertisement for a Criminal Defense Lawyer with the same last name. Doctor entered room and did not introduce himself. As he was examining my child I noticed stains on his hands and asked if he wash them because they looked dirty. He stated that they were stained from some chemical. He became offended and stated that "I didn't appreciate him".I left and will not allow this doctor to treat my child.

I am an Anesthesiologist who has given pediatric anesthesia for 20 years. Dr. Toufanian is the best pediatric surgeon I have ever worked with. I would let him operate on my baby if she ever needed surgery.
