1. After specifically voicing concern about my back and breathing, she verbally stated that she preferred to look at my leg. 2. After taking additional x-rays of my lower back the Doctor did not review them until I asked her as she was walking out of the consultation room. Upon doing so, she acted surprised which implied she never reviewed them beforehand until that moment. 3. After having asked “are you able to recommend another physician about my back and breathing issue?” she responded with, “No…maybe you can look up a pulmonary specialist or something”. So to sum up my experience with Dr. Mascarinas: If you want to be talked over and dismissed go see Dr. Mascarinas. If you want a doctor that smirks, huffs and is impatient, go see Dr. Mascarinas If you want a doctor who doesn’t pay attention to the point where she misses important details on your X- Ray, please go see Dr. Mascarinas. If you want a doctor who has no beside manner and cannot answer your questions no matter how many times you ask, Dr. Mascarinas is the doctor for you. She doesn’t deserve to be a doctor. It’s either about the money or the prestige and certainly not about the oath she took. What’s the point of becoming a doctor if you can’t be bothered with helping someone heal? It’s a business to her- not a passion or her calling. If you want someone that actually cares and takes the time to listen to you, “hear” you and “see” you, please look elsewhere.

I had a misdiagnosis , where I live ,94 days of crippling , leg dragging pain .Dr Mascarinas quickly had the MRI on her screen & showed me the glaring problem . Dr Angelina also arranged to fast track me to a quick surgical solution , I can’t thank her enough .

I have been going to Dr,, Mascarinas for years for my back pain. She is very caring and professional. She does a thorough evaluation and explains MRIs in detail. She has given me epidurals and performed an ablation. She was gentle and explained everything she was doing during the whole procedure. She also answers all messages herself and provides thorough and helpful instructions and advice. I highly recommend her for her professionalism and true concern for her patients.
