Assisting Hands is the most incredible group of caring, compassionate and trained caregivers. Our mom was hospitalized on Thanksgiving and from the first call to each and every day, the care givers and the management team have been incredible! They are professional, but more importantly they care deeply for their patients and take extraordinary care. We are blessed to have found such an amazing team!

Assisting Hands helped us in a time of dire need for overnight nursing care for my mother. Released from a rehabilitation hospital, she needed overnight assistance immediately, and Assisting Hands was a Godsend. The office manager, Verna, was so caring and thoughtful, she walked us through the process and provided us with a wonderful caretaker, Cassandra. My mother immediately felt comfort in knowing someone was there for her medical needs, and Cassandra took great care of my mother. With Assisting Hands help, my mother recovered quickly in the comfort of her own home. Should the need arise again, Assisting Hands will be our first phone call.

I was so lucky to find Assisting Hands during a time when I needed help with my 91 year old mother who needed live-in support. They immediately jumped on my request to find a great match to provide companionship and other home services. I have returned to them several times to help and each time, they were efficient, responsive, and sensitive to my mother's needs. I cannot thank Verna enough for her kindness and consideration.

Violated contract I had with them!

When my father passed unexpectedly last June, my mother, who had been married to him for sixty years, not only lost her life-long companion but her care giver as well. Mom struggled to walk and bathe due to back problems and had trouble keeping track of her medications. She could no longer drive and had many appointments. I was living in Charlotte NC at the time and knew immediately she would need in-home care. Assisting Hands was able to quickly assess my mother’s needs and put in place care high quality care givers on a schedule she required. Not only were they well trained, they were great companions to my mother as well. Each is able to take her to her appointments, cook and serve her meals, help her bathe and dress, and handle household chores. This allows my mother to conserve her strength and her care givers walk outside with her each day. The peace of mind this has given me in this trying time has been priceless. I know my mother is in good hands and has able to stay in her home during this very difficult transition and during a scary time with COVID-19. Assisting Hands has a nurse that is able to handle all the medicine to ensure my mother gets the right dose of all her prescriptions at the right time. Marina, the owner, is always just a phone call away and ready to help. I cannot recommend Assisting Hands highly enough if you have a loved one who needs customized in-home care.

Everyone was so accommodating to our needs. Many times I found it necessary to call for extra help and someone always came.Our primary caregiver was awesome. She was like a second right hand. She knew exactly what needed to be done and did it!

Assisting Hands has been amazing to work with. In our initial interactions on our father's need for care, their approach was to gather information and use that to make recommendations but it is all done on a timetable that we felt good about. Their passion and commitment for delivering quality care is present with everyone in the organization. Their level of personalized service is outstanding and reassuring to families with elderly parents. The two in-home caregivers who take care of our father are a joy to work with and exceptionally helpful. They know their profession and worked very hard to make our father comfortable with his need for 24 hour care and the changes that come with that. They have earned our trust and we could not be happier we found them.

The entire organization is truly the best! It was so easy to communicate with them, handle billing and payments with our insurance etc. Best of all my Dad loved his Caregiver and I felt he was in great hands. I would highly recommend them as they made my life very easy during this difficult process.

My cousin needed a great deal of help and Assisting Hands was on the job very quickly. The staff was very good with my cousin who was in dire need. The staff and management made sure I knew my cousin would be well looked after, which gave me great peace of mind. I recommend them to anybody that needs full or part time help with a loved one.
