List of Barry Horowitz's Reviews
The most sincerely caring and empathetic physician I’ve ever known in Palm Beach County. The only doctor I’ve ever had who actually listens. My trust never waivers in Dr. Barry Horowitz because he is so thorough and informative. I have been his patient for many years. His office is very relaxing and he does lab work right there. Free valet parking, too.
Dr. Horowitz is the Best, it's been 12 years and he has not changed a bit! He is polite, answers any questions and never will never make you feel unimportant as he takes his time with each person! I'd be remissed if I didn't acknowledge the office staff. From the front desk to the doctors assistant and lab technicians they are all great! Dr. Horowitz was the first doctor who sat me down in his office to explain my condition and what to expect regarding the procedure. With that being said, I have the upmost respect for this doctors office and should have done this survey along time ago!
Great endocrinologist,always on time
Dr. Horowitz is the best Endo in the area very understanding and patient takes time to listen and understand your needs.
Excellent experience!
Great Doctor, very kind and listens to your problems. Really treats people and patients with respect. I highly recommend his services. I hope he opens a location in Stuart soon.
My first and following few visits with Dr. Horowitz was actually good. He was very accommodating and tended to my medical concerns. Just today and to my surprise, I received a letter with his name and signature that read,, “I will no longer be able to provide you with patient care”. After calling the office to inquire as to the reason for this, I was told by an office representative that the letter was in fact written by them (office staff) and that I was “dismissed” because I didn’t respond to their calls for scheduling. Let me be clear the letter stated NOTHING about scheduling nor did I receive any type of notice prior to this about being dismissed. It was a first and only straight dismissal and I had to call them to find this out. I want to make it clear that it had not been a very long time since my last visit but even if it this was the case, it was just so utterly wrong. Talk about lack of care for your patients. In all my years of contact with doctors, I’ve never received a letter nor experienced this type of treatment EVER. It’s sad because I actually liked Dr. Horowitz but it is evident that he does not care about his patients but rather seeks one thing- $$.. To add insult to injury, the staff representative seemed perfectly OK with telling me this. To end, I do not recommend this doctor for services. Take your money elsewhere to people who actually care.
I wish I had read all the reviews before I wasted time seeing Dr. Horowitz. He was fine during the appointment, but the follow up post-labs was nonexistent. It took weeks of leaving messages and writing on portal to finally get a cursory response from someone on staff. Will not return
Terrible, non existent followup post labs from the staff. Worst experience ever. Had to leave multiple messages on portal and by phone, and finally went back to my doctor in NY with a televisit.
My husband’s medical challenge required much thought and expertise when balancing complicated medication interactions. Making it more frustrating was the price tag on the medications and the medical insurance said they wouldn’t cover them. Dr. Horowitz spent the time figuring out how to balance the competing medications and then worked with the insurance company’s peer review convincing them to approve the expensive medication. Dr. Horowitz called and texted my husband throughout the process and then followed through with oversight when he began using the medicines. Just loved Dr. Horowitz’s personality, his smarts, and his concern. Glad to have this professional on our team. We highly recommend him when you need the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
