List of Charles Griff's Reviews
Dr Griff is one of the most caring and proficient doctor in the Dermatology field. He listens and uses the best protocol he sees fit for the condition. He is known for his mole surgery. At one time there was a rude front office woman and I had to put her in her place. I have seen a change in the front office staff and they are very pleasant.
Dr Griff is insensitive his method of doctoring are Ancient. They didn’t bill my medical insurance for a biopsy correctly so none of it was covered. With many phone calls to Cigna they wrote off the $1100 biopsy bill thank you cigna. When I tried to follow up on why they did the coding wrong so it wouldn’t happen again I was referred to the office manager who conveniently was in a meeting and when she called me back basically said she would “ be around” the office on monday but would not set up an appointment to resolve the billing problem to begin with. Its hard enough trying to heal but to have so many obstacles is Exhausting. Maybe I should charge them for my time trying To fix the mistakes. Good luck if you choose to see this practice.
Dr Griff is great! However, need to replace the receptionist at front desk. She was very rude to me and also yelled out my bday so the whole waiting room heard it. She then did it to the next patient (yup, I know his bday too). And was not very respectful when I was not able to read the pad for signatures.
Receptionist was rude when asking for computer pad info, which was hard to read w glare and small size. And yelled out my bday for whole room to hear. They need to get someone better for their front desk when you come into office.
Medicine that they gave me made the problem worse, if I had not used the medicine, I would’ve had it cleared in a few weeks, now has set me behind even more. I believe they gave me the wrong medication based on what the medication is used for. DO NOT COME HERE.
Waited three months for first appointment, as my Mom has been going there for 20+ years. Left work meeting to get there. Office staff canceled my appointment after being 7 minutes late and calling. I wait another three months later come back early for my appointment and they tell me Dr Griff doesn't take my insurance but I can come back next week for nurse practitioner, although they confirmed with me prior. Office lead is rude, needless to say I am not going back.
He rushes your appointment, and you always feel that you can't ask questions because he has one hand on the doorknob. If you try to ask questions, he interrupts you.
I have been to this office while I was pregnant and now recently to have a melanoma removed. Candance took care of me both times and she was super sweet and caring and explained everything in detail. The nurse (blonde skinny one, sorry I don't know your name) was also incredible. I have been to other dermatology offices (well known place) and didn't have good experience. Here they treated me very good and take the time to explain everything.
Worst Dermatology office ever! Their website shows three Dr.'s including Griff, but when I tried to get an appointment for a serious problem I was having, I could only see a NP. She misdiagnosed the problem, which led to further problems. When I went in for a follow up, she still insisted that she was correct and took 3 biopsies to prove it. She said she would put a rush on them, however when I tried to contact the office 3 and 4 days later, I got the after hours message from morning till the close of business for the office (3:30 p.m.). I gave them 1 star only because I couldn't post this without selecting at least one, but they don't even deserve that!
Good luck seeing Griff, or one of the other 2 Dr.'s listed on their website! I could only see a NP who misdiagnosed the serious problem I was having, leading to further problems. When I tried to call for biopsy results, their phone line went straight to after hours message for 2 business days straight.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
