Beware! Performed bunionectomy this past July (bunion still exists) He said I had capsulitis second and third toes — performed wrong surgery— ligaments pulled in wrong directions— second and third toes pulled downward —forth toe not involved, flopped upward , live with extreme pain and deformity. X-rays and records show wrongdoing. —Action taken—. Be warned—-should have Followed my instincts when I initially enter his office— viewed dirty room and equipment!! ! Lawyer’s contact and wrongdoings reported to appropriate state boards ——
The staff at Dr Heck office is very rude and NASTY. I was a patient there for yrs and i tried to make a new appointment for my family member and the FEMALE staffer was SUPER NASTY. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED...
I have seen Dr. Heck in the office and the wound care center. He is great in providing the patient with information and various scenarios on treatments. He has a great bedside manner and always put me at ease in dealing with my issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Heck.
Showed up for my 1:45 appointment at 1:40 and proceeded to wait until 2:40 before leaving without seeing Dr. Heck. I don't know if this is normal for their office, but it is unacceptable.
My first time visiting they made me feel so comfortable Dr Hecks asst Bree is a very caring person as far as I'm concerned the whole staff is awesome
I had put off going to the podiatrist due to my embarrassment of my toenails, which had become thick and discolored. Dr. Heck immediately put me at ease & spoke to me as if I were a friend he was advising. He answered my questions clearly and even showed concern after I confessed that I had also put off treatment for an issue regarding my liver. To sum up, just an overall nice, down to earth person. The receptionist & all the staff were courteous and helpful. Wonderful experience.
I showed up for my 2nd appt. to find they had scheduled me for another office. They sent an email confirming this appt. but Dr. was not at this location. I will not use this Dr. again as staff is clueless. Parking lot is overflowing as was cramped waiting room. Dr. is an average practitioner.
Dr. Heck is a talented, professional physician with a down-to-earth personality and caring bedside manner. He is the clear choice among the podiatry and wound doctors in the area. He answers questions in a way that's easy to understand without sounding condescending like other physicians. The office staff was bright and welcoming. The women at the front desk were helpful and funny, and they didn't make me feel like an inconvenience for being late. 10/10 DEFINITELY gonna stick with this office.
Daniel Heck's office was able to get myself into the office as soon as possible for an injury of my right foot. Dr. Heck has a such an amazing personality and very professional, worth the wait. He took his time providing me the knowledge needed for my fractured foot and answered all my questions on how to help the fractures heal faster. I left the office in a good direction knowing that I did not need surgery.
If I could give this office a 0 (Zero) star I would. They over charged my husband almost $100. And when he questioned them, they argued with him about it. We called the office multiple times with no answer. My husband will NEVER return to that office and I will make sure to tell everyone else to stay away as well!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
