Dr. Sokolof was my doctor for a long time. I was so disappointed to hear about he's retirement. He was a caring, informative and his check-up was very thorough unfortunately for me it was very important because I had numerous findings that was close to develop to melanoma. He was always neat looking like a doctor should along with the office being very clean and orderly. I never commented on his excellent service but now after trying at least five other dermatologists that fail to give you a proper examination that I am accustomed to. Dr. Sokolof was one in a million and I miss him a lot.

Dr. Sokoloff has been my family's dermatologist for eons. And Dr. Crittenden before him. Dr. Sokoloff and his staff are the best. Today I had an odd experience. I took my parents for their scheduled appointment. By the time I picked parents up and made it to their office in hurricane Irma traffic, I had been in the car for an hour and a half. All that morning coffee had to go somewhere! The one bathroom in the waiting room was occupied and one never knows how long it might be before it was free. So I asked the nice lady with the long brown hair if there was another bathroom I could use. She said no. My 57 y.o. bladder did not like hearing that! Now it is the dermatologist. Maybe she thought I had a raging rash on my butt. Scabies, perhaps? I don't. I am not the patient. So I got back in my car and drove to the restaurant across the street. Bought something after using their facilities and enjoyed it while thinking, "Great dermatologist, jerk with long brown hair behind the desk".
