Daniel Spitz's Online Review Report Card

Basic service. Worked with Daniel Spitz during my mothers lung cancer chemotherapy. I was very surprised at the limited scope of their practice. I had expected that a practice calling itself Cancer Specialist would have a more rounded approach. Diet and exercise and mental health should have been a part of the curriculum.

I consider myself fortunate that Dr. Spitz was recommended to me by another doctor after unusual blood test results. At my very first appointment I knew he was the right doctor for me. He was kind and compassionate and allayed many of my fears about the type of cancer I have. More importantly he was not an alarmist. He told me that we were going to be friends for a long time. Well its more than nine years later and he was right I appreciate his knowledge his expertise his patience and above all his sense of humor. When other medical professionals hear his name they all say how terrific he is and I couldnt agree more. In addition the nurses and office staff could not be sweeter.

I have been using Dr Spitz for breast cancer treatment. My husband has non hogkins lymphoma and also uses Dr Spitz. He is a wonderful doctor very compassionate and a great sense of humor very helpful and very bright.

Dr. Spitz is great good bedside manner and answers all our questions. Staff on the other hand is horrible. I was on wait for over 15 minutes to confirm an appointment finally hung up. We have also waited for over 2 hours for bloodwork on more than one occasion. Hopefully he will see this and take a look at his staff.

3 rounds of chemo so far and all of the follow up to go along with it. I am being seen at MD ANDERSON in Houston. However Dr Spitz was kind enough to consult and administer the protocal from my Dr there. Upon my initial consult while there was a bit of a wait I understood why once I met with Dr Spitz. He spent ALL the time I needed for qa and then some. Very easy to speak with and no pulling punches. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Spitz for your care.

Hard to get an appointment but once there I found the office and Dr. Spitz to be excellent.. First visit but he was very interested in my past and current medical issues spent a good amount of time with me and was very proactive. Having moved here from out of state I was thrilled to find this office.

Unorganized dances around answers poor follow up

Dr. Spitz was the most compassionate doctor I have ever gone to in my life. It was because I trusted him so much that I continued my horrific chemo treatments. His bedside manner was beyond measure. Dr. Spitz was very knowledgeable about all aspects concerning the cancer I was dealing with. I will always refer everyone to him. They just do not make doctors like him anymore. He saved my life.
