List of David Selzer's Reviews
Been seeing him for about 5 years since relocating to FL. I think he is terrific! He listens to patients and takes a wholistic approach to your health. He cares about you personally. Has great bedside manner. He gets to know you as a person. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
My initial exam consisted of him listening to my heart through my shirt. He did not check my eyes, ears, nose, or throat. Did not ck reflexes, no gait or balance exam,no prostate exam, no ck of my abdomen. He was not thorough at all. In his summary report he noted that he checked all of these areas. He also billed a high level visit that he did not meet the criteria for. My labs sat somewhere of 2 months before we had any discussion about them. This is poor practice of medicine.
I went as a new patient for an initial history and physical. I sat in a treatment room that had half of the cabinet edge missing and an area on the wall where something had been pulled out and not patched and painted. The treatment door was open, with no privacy. Dr. Selzer listened to my heart through my shirt while I was sitting. There was no abdominal, head, ear, nose, or throat exam ( although in his visit summary he stated it was normal). He never looked in my eyes. Didn't have me walk, didn't check reflexes or muscle strength (indicated these were normal in his summary report also). Never performed a prostate exam. Never checked the pulses in my extremities (indicated these were normal in his summary report also). Basically spent 10-15 minutes w me and a portion of this was dictating. He billed for a high level initial exam which was absolutely not performed. My labs sat somewhere for almost 2 months and when we went over them, he was first looking at them.
I went for an initial exam. Dr. Selzer's only contact with my body was listening to my heart through my shirt. There was no exam of my eyes, ears, nose, or throat. Never palpated my abdomen. No prostate exam. No testing of reflexes or gait evaluation. Never checked the pulses of my extremities. I never got up from the table I was sitting on. He indicated in his visit summary report that all of these areas were examined and normal. This was not true. My labs sat somewhere for 2 months before we reviewed them. His first look at them was when we discussed them 2 months later. Lord knows what might have taken place if anything was abnormal. He billed for a complex hight level initial exam which was so far from the truth.
I went for an initial visit. I sat on the exam table fully clothed The treatment door open with no privacy. He listened to my heart through my shirt. Never checked my eyes, ears, nose, or throat. Never palpated my abdomen. Didn't ck reflexes, muscle strength or gait. Never palpated pulses of my extremities. All of these, non examined areas, were put in his dictated summary as examined. There was no prostate exam. HIs bill to insurance was for a highly complex initial exam, which was clearly not performed. My blood tests were reviewed by him 2 months after he received them. Lord knows the risk if there were abnormalities. This is not good practice of medicine.
He rushes you as his patient. I went for blood sugar issues and he wouldn't even explain to me how to use the glucose monitor he gave me. Said "you can figure it out, right?" He was GOOGLING what my possible diagnosis could be because he said he couldn't figure out what was wrong. He rushes you, doesn't seem to really care about you personally, and has zero bedside manner. I am looking for someone else.
Would like to find out my bloodwork results. I am old and handicapped and not computer literate. Phone 561 376 8895 Thankyou Judith cohen 7-13-43
Being in the medical profession I’ve spent years searching for a physician, since relocating. Dr. Selzer is extremely easy to speak to, has great credentials, and has always been easy to reach. He take time to explain things and doesn’t rush. I’ve recommended him to my all of my family.
Dr Selzer takes his time with his patients. He is very concerned about those he takes care of. I am very pleased that my husband and I found Dr Selzer!
Dr Selzer is the most caring, knowledgeable, professional Dr. In PB County

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
