I had a explant and lift with Dr Barr, amazing surgeon who belives in breast implant illness. After seeing 2 rheumatologist who misdiagnosed me i found Dr Barr. He has changed my life , I am completely pain free and my BII symptoms are GONE. Kind and caring surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner, I knew from meeting with Carla i was in great hands!

Dr Barr is a skilled plastic surgeon whose goal is to help you look and be the best you can be. Staff are warm and friendly. They all contribute to ensuring you have a perfect outcome.

My personal experience with Dr Barr was not positive. He did a breast implant removal with a lift. I had an infection from the drains, stitches that opened and scared me worse than the horrible cuts he did on me. I am one year post op and my scars are still very tender, ugly and keloid. My nips are uneven, he literally uses a cookie cutter and they are ugly and point different directions! Thanks Dr Barr! He told me things that were untrue and I know this because there are many many other women on social media that have now come forward with the horror stories of what Dr Barr did to them. My scars underneath look as if he ripped them, not cut. They are jagged and very tender. I absolutely would not recommend Dr Barr for any breast surgery whatsoever and highly recommend doing your research before scheduling. I did not and will pay the price for the rest of my life. They were perfect and symmetrical before removal. I have large lumps of scar tissue that is painful and won’t break-up.

Dr. Barr gave me an experience that has changed my life! His professionalism and expertise is nothing less than exceptional. He performed a breast explant and lift that gave me results I could have only dreamed of. He made me feel heard from all the health issues I was having from my implants. He even personally called me after my surgery when I was extremely sick from the anesthesia. Thank you and to your lovely staff for giving me my life back. 10 stars 🌟

Excellent surgeon, excellent staff, best decision ever

I don’t know where to begin in praising Dr. Barr and his entire staff. They cared for me with the most sincere kindness I’ve had from any medical practice. Dr. Barr is truly an exceptional physician and moreover, is compassionate, kind, was always available when I had questions or concerns, and truly strived to give me the very best result possible. I cannot thank him enough! He did such an excellent job on my surgery. I had minimal scarring and pain post-op. Now at five months post surgery, I have no pain whatsoever. I have complete feeling in both breasts, which I was not expecting to have post-explant. I highly recommend Dr. Barr and I’m grateful to him and his staff.
