Shocked by his attitude. I’m a young, quiet 24 yr old who was upset and just trying to find out what was wrong with me. Just an awful experience, doctor and personality. Sarcastic and rude. Never experienced someone like him in my entire life.

As a patient of Dr. Gary Shifrin, l feel he’s a brilliant cardiologist with a wonderful personality. He makes me feel comfortable and hopeful. I had a Doppler test with Rick on 5/24 who was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. This is beautiful new office and easy find with garage and street parking.

Dr. Shifrin did a wonderful job and is a warm and compassionate doctor. However, we have never had a more difficult time trying to get support through his local staff regarding an insurance issue and dealing with billing out of their centralized New York billing office is a nightmare. Not sure we will return because of the hassle.

Dr. Shifrin is fantastic! He's knowledgeable, takes time to listen, treats you as an individual and tailors your care to your individual needs. I had a lot of pain in my feet. He checked my medication list, made some modifications to discontinue some, recommended pressure support hose and told me to drink 2 Gatorades a day. The pain was gone in a few days and hasn't returned in over 5 years. He has a great list of referral doctors if you need additional cardiac procedures, too. I highly recommend Dr. Shifrin, he's wonderful.

I saw Dr. Shifrin at Mt. Sinai and his Staff was INCREDIBLE, he was INCREDIBLE, and his treatment recommendation was extremely prudent and made me feel at ease that he was exploring every possible scenario, prior to rendering his diagnosis. This Dr. has an impressive Resume and has a wealth of experience and knowledge (not to mention his education is top notch). He is also very funny and light-hearted and I would recommend any and everyone with a concern about their heart to obtain an evaluation from Dr. Shifrin. Even pregnant patients. 🙂 Thank you to all that were so kind and welcoming to me during my visit. I am so lucky to have found this Dr.! 10 Stars!

Dr. Shiffrin was very rude. He interrupted me as I was speaking, and he even went so far as to make derogatory comments about the clothes that I was wearing. His attitude is very pompous. I would never recommend him to anyone, and in fact, I even requested that I be assigned to a different cardiologist. Avoid him at all costs!

My first visit was excellent. Dr Shifrin was thorough in reviewing my medical history and providing a plan to reduce my triglycerides without medication. His exam was complete and his manner was friendly. I have complete confidence in Dr Shifrin as my cardiologist and highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Shifrin is a true "Mensch" . saved my life 10 years ago .he`s the best gift GOD gave us in the medical field . I find him to be a very kind , informed doctor and I never felt that he had" NO TIME " for me . Great human being .
