Harvey Montijo's Online Review Report Card

I met Dr. Montijo when I broke my tibial plateau and was taken to Palm Beach Gardens Med. Ctr. My 1st encounter with him was over the phone after he reviewed my xrays and CT scan. He was amazing. His caring and compassionate bedside manner put me immediately at ease. And this was over the phone My leg was too swollen at that point to consider surgery and I was scheduled to see him at his office one week later. When I finally met him he was everything I could ask for in a dr. He reviewed the CT scan in depth with me as well as an updated xray and said that although he is a surgeon and he loved to do surgery he just didnt feel it was necessary. He explained what I could expect as it healed and has always taken the time to answer all my questions. His staff is great as well. His PA was at the hospital with me and explained what was happening each step of the way. I am 62 and never had a broken bone. Dr. Montijo has made this experience as bearable as it could possibly be.

I found the staff to be very arrogant and smug. This happened after I recieved a bill for a service I asked them not to do. But they assured me it was covered by my insurance. Long and behold I wasnt covered i had a total knee replacement done and this happened during a follow up visit.

HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE PRICE GOUGING. I WAS A PATIENT FOR OVER 2 YEARS. INSTEAD OF CHARGING ME PRE EXISTING PATIENT FEE. I WAS QUOTED $75. FOR VISIT AND ADDITIONAL FEES AS PRESCRIBED TOTALLYING $150. THEN THEY SWITCHED THE PRICE TO OVER $300. TO CHARGE FOR NEW PATIENT. THE INJURY PREEXISTING. NASTY NASTY ARGUMENTATIVE DESK CLERK WHOS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS. TIME TO MOVE ON. SHAME ON YOUR HYPORATIC DR. OATH. RUDE CRUDE SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE. OUTRAGEOUS BAIT SWITCH. PRICE GOUGING.

Bro... I normally don’t even write reviews.Dr. Motijo is hands down best doctor I’ve ever been to. Overall experience was great 1010 recommend.

Made me very comfortable and knowledgeable about my surgery his assisting team was very helpful as well.

Dr. Montijo replaced my knee eight years ago. By my third month of recovery my knee was perfect Eight years later it is still perfect Will be seeing him again soon for my other knee.

Patient is in hospital Dr. And Drs PA dont respond to calls from nursing station. Patient in extreme pain after surgery and no Drs attention. Cant believe the lack of attention.would never use this Dr or JFK north

I saw Dr. Montijo for the first time yesterday. I cannot say enough about his knowledge kindness and “bedside manner”. He explained everything to me in layman’s terms he also made me feel more atease conversing about life in general.

Was very comprehensive and discussed my husbands treatment needs
