Love love her! What a wonderful person took all the time to listen to me and my husband and answer all our questions! I was so scared at first due to my cancer diagnosis I felt in every moment I had the right surgeon to take care of me! The icing on the cake she came to speak to my husband before and after surgery in person to keep him informed. Super smart person and very special!

Dr Kathleen Minnick was highly recommended to me for knowhow and surgical skill; so much so that I switched insurance so she could be my surgeon. As a nurse and reluctant patient with a million questions and doubts, I was deeply reassured by Dr Minnick's thorough, detailed explanations of the pathophysiology of the lesions as well as the options available and risks and benefits. All the staff at the Breast Center at Good Sam were kind and considerate. Special kudos to Sherry and Colleen who assisted the Doc with my procedure. They made the experience as comfortable and stress free as possible under the circumstances.

Dr. Minnick is very knowledgeable and patient. She is a straight shooter and direct which is what you want in your surgeon, or at least what I want. She makes you feel secure and comfortable. I was nervous before every appointment leading up to surgery but after my appointments with her, I felt like I was in good hands and I was!!!! Would recommend Dr Minnick to family and friends!

Doctor Kathleen Minnick, along with her team, are incompetent, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Neither her office environment nor staff made me feel comfortable. As I sat with Dr. Minnick in the office, she spoke to my mom and shushed her. Doctors should not act in this manner towards family members of patients. Six months after being diagnosed with breast cancer, I have not yet had surgery. It was obvious that they were swindling my insurance funds. I was continuously sent to appointments. To this day, I do not know what my status is and I am unsure of what is happening. My condition was not clearly explained nor did she listen to or answer my questions. The appointment scheduling process was difficult and waiting times were lengthy. After switching doctors I was able to get things underway within a month. In contrast, with Dr. Minnick, it took me six months and even then my surgery was not scheduled and I was left confused. All in all, I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Dr Kathleen Minnick was about the worst Dr I have ever seen and been to. Not only was she unprofessional, especially with the tone of her voice, but she lacked consideration towards me. She provided no comfort nor any direction to assist me in my cure. Today, I lost insurance money and am still trying to figure my situation out without her. Don’t go to her as it’s an immense waste of time and energy. Find someone who will TRULY care.

Staff is grossly Incompetent. Stay far far away. While waiting two hours, only to find out later that staff did not book the correct procedure, I was able to over hear the physician discussing another patient diagnosis.

Dr Minnick is very knowledgeable, efficient, caring and patient. You can speak to actual people when you call her office and they are caring. Highly recommend.

Dr Minnick makes it a point to know her patients. She provides an easy to understand explanation of the diagnosis with compassion. She is organized and caring. Her office staff is also wonderful. Highly recommend.

My family had a concerning experience with Dr. Minnick. after she gave my mother her diagnosis there was no communication about when treatment would occur or even what that treatment would be. she told my mother she wanted her to have additional consultations with additional doctors but with no explanation of why. When she would see the other doctors they were confused as to why she was supposed to be seeing them since they do not interact with patients until post surgery. My mother was not allowed to get any questions answered over the phone or by coming into the office unless she had an appointment and appointments were made two weeks in advanced. This was explained to her by Dr. Minnick as well as by the office manager. She would continually be met with delays and evasions when asking simple questions like “when is my surgery”, a reasonable inquiry since early detection and treatment is key in successful treatment of breast cancer. After 60 days of no answers, no communication, and no plan of action my mother called and asked if she could make an appointment for that day or the next for answers and was condescendingly told the very soonest anyone could possibly see her was late the next week. So my mother called a different treatment center who was able to get her in the next morning and went to the office to request transfer of her records and when she walked in the building was greeted by the office manager and told “Mrs.****, you can’t keep pestering us. We told you we can get you in late next week. You really just need to wait.” She let the office manager know that it wasn’t a problem, she was just going to get her records transferred to a different office since they were having a hard time fitting her in. Immediately she was offered an appointment at 1pm the same day and when she declined she was then spoken down to about how she was depriving herself of the opportunity of being treated by Dr. Minnick. She had a very successful surgery less than a week and a half later (although it was now two lumps instead of one due to delay in care) under her new doctor and was encouraged to call or walk in with any questions about her health, treatment, any processes, or medications anytime she needed information. So, While I am glad some patients have a great experience at this center with Dr. Minnick, I would highly encourage anyone who has doubts of the care they are being offered or answers that they are given PLEASE find a different doctor. It is YOUR health and life.
