Dr. Mendez is an outstanding vascular surgeon who is most thorough in his assessment of his patients. He listens carefully. Each time my husband has seen Dr Mendez, he has been 100% correct with the diagnosis and treatment plan. Most recently, my husband was in a life-threatening situation in the hospital and it was Dr Mendez who saved the day. Excellent physician who not only hears the patient out, but looks at the problem touches the problem and makes his own assessment. Orders only the tests that are needed and follows through with treatment. Aggressive when needs to be , the kind of physician that you want. needs to be and shows great cincern needs to be and make sure that the patient is improving

Worst experience I have ever had in a lifetime. Let's start with the fact that the staff at the front desk is unfit, ill-mannered, and extremely unprofessional. I went into their office expecting a level of transparency and professionalism, factors which I believe to be basic qualities and values when treating a future patient. The first red flag was the fact that the staff at the front desk told us over the phone, that the consultation didn't have a set cost. That it could vary between $60.00 and $250.00, and that we would only know the consultation fee right after we walked out of the consultation. Well I certainly thought it was odd/strange, sense usually I'm told an exact fee to pay for consultation; it's certainly not like getting treatment where it varies... it's just a simple consultation. Well, I decided to ignore the very obvios red flag, and walked in the office for consultation anyway. The girl (front desk staff) walked us to a room and we were greeted by a lady, who asked a couple questions and than 5 minutes later Dr. Mendez walked in. They both begun to take a look at the legs and in the most unprofessional manner.... talking about irrelevant subjects and laughing amongst themselves. Well, 10 minutes passed and I was told the consultation was over. I never got my questions answered and that was all. Leaving me clearly unsatisfied with the consultation; but they quickly parted into a different room. So my mother and I walked to the front desk to pay our fee and leave. Only to be told that those 10 minutes of a very sketchy and disreputable consultation will cost us $250.00. We were clearly unhappy about the price and so we expressed the concern to the girl at the front desk. She immediately called the manager and the manager didn't let us even voiced our dissatisfaction. She went on to give us the most discourteous, and rude look. And pointed at us and said "you see this two people right here, if you see them in this office, never give them any service" and told us to pay $250.00 and leave. So we did just that... we paid and left their office. But I'm glad we found out early on the type of people they are, before we would have had any invasive surgery done at their very sketchy place. I can't even begin to Imagine the outcome, of voicing a simple concern such as for example a side effect or things that may come up during such delicate procedures. Human dignity, respect, professionalism and basic transparency is an expectation of patients and customers. The staff at this facility doesn't have it. And If there was an option ... I would rate them MINUS or 0 stars. Now, I'm glad I never got any surgical procedure done with them. I shared my negative experience with a friend and he told me his experience with this facility and how it went really downhill for him to say the least. In my opinion they shouldn't be in service, I find them dishonorable, and shouldn't be in the care of patients. On the other hand my mother has had plenty of successful treatments and surgeries done with an different, incredible Doctor, and I'm happy it worked out at the end. All I can say is trust your judgement, if it doesn't seem right, don't get delicate invasive prosedures with any ill mannered Dr's and or staff.
