I am 2 weeks post-op TKR on the right knee. I love HSS and Dr. Roche --- they operate like a well-oiled machine with everyone doing his or her job flawlessly. I went in at 7:30 and was back home at 12:30! Up and walking with no support within a day or two. Great ROM. A lot of bruising and swelling and some pain but I was religious with the ice machine and elevation so that has dissipated quickly. Be diligent with the post-op PT and listen to your body. Highly recommend.

Dr. Martin Roche works in association with HSS. Having been a patient from 5-2022 thru 7-2023 I have found the service to be extremely poor. The ability to reach Him or his staff is extremely challenging. He uses HSS to manage his and his teams messages with no concern of the needs or urgency of the patient. My last encounter was to have an MRI and determine the course of treatment needed. Having had the MRI there was no response by him or his staff after 2 1/2 weeks.( I had called numerous times) The HSS staff never conveyed the messages. I need to seek treatment from another provider and facility.

1 week since my partial replacement and I'm walking around with no pain. Was extremely happy with him.

I had total knee replacement on both knees in the span of 6 months Both surgeries were successful. In 2 weeks I was walking, no pain, or discomfort ,no swelling. Some therapy and this has been 16 years ago. Dr Roche is second to none. None like him. Thanks a million Doc. He is very patient,pleasant,and the best.

I did substantial research for an orthopedic surgeon who does robotic knee surgery and has a follow up plan that manages pain in an adequate approach. Dr Roche met all the criteria and more. I also asked anyone who I met who did their surgery and how was their outcome. If you live in South Florida there is no one better. I was playing golf after 6 weeks of having a full knee replacement and I’m 70 years old.

Dr. Rouche did my right knee in 2016 and found that I only needed a knee implant. I have had great success and have had no problems. He told me I would probably have to do the left knee eventually. So here I am in 2023 getting an appointment with Dr. Roche to do my left knee. He is a wonderful ortho surgent and cares about all his patients I wouldn't let anyone else do my surgery except Dr. Rouche he is the best!

Dr Roche performed my partial knee surgery in October 22', it feels great now . Great technology and expertise . Thank you Doc .

He’s the best orthopedic surgeon in the country. I had my right total knee replaced in October and very little pain, I was 125 /0 in less than a month. Very little pain. Trust me it’s worth the wait to get an appointment. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I did not see this doctor. I was hoping to see him because I need a knee replacement and all I wanted to know was when his first available appointment was since this would determine if I was going to proceed with providing my information and setting up an appointment. I must say it is very disconcerting when the attendant begins the call with saying, "how did you get this number?" She would not answer my question until she got all of my information, including insurance. I stopped her there and she would still not answer my question until I provided my insurance information and therefore told me to call back. I called back immediately and got another attendant telling her that when the doctor could see me would determine if I would make an appointment. She said, the end of April. I said that is too far out, I am in pain, thank you and goodbye. My advice regarding the first attendant is to hire critical thinkers

As a previous patient I tried to make an appointment with Dr Roche. The scheduling assistant was rude and unprofessional. She kept me on the phone for 45 minutes and could not schedule an appointment. The inmates are truly running the asylum!!!
