I have been a patient of Dr. Basile for 10 yrs. I believe it is nearly impossible to find a more caring, professional & knowledgable Dr. She literally saved my life, more than once. Most unfortunately the dr that replaced her @ this practice.. not so much. 1st thing he stated was he knew all about me as Dr. Basile is so OC. What ?? That is her utmost professionalism & thoroughness. I have been truly blessed, as have all all others, to have been her patient.

My husband and I have both been seeing Dr. Basile on a regular basis for more than 12 years. She is very thorough, takes time to answer all questions, and is available when we need her. She has phoned us directly when the situation warranted and is always responsive. She is a conservative doctor and carefully reviews all possible counterindications with us, helping us weigh pros and cons. We find her to be very approachable. I referred my father to her, and he really likes Dr. Basile, too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Basile's for 8 yrs. She is a most thorough Nephrologist. Many do not realize how important their Kidneys are & how many functions of the body they effect ! Dr. Basile has it ALL covered from ESRD, to Dialysis- huge change on body functtion & it's different modalities- right through to "Kidney Transplant- which is a treatment, Not a cure". As well as the effects of anti rejections medications on your body.

Obviously a smart and competent doctor but severely lacking in her bedside manner. She is abrupt and at times condescending. Don't think she takes into account her patients emotional needs when she treats them.
