Questionable oversight.I was seen by this practice several times, including annual skin checks. Like many offices, they push for patients to see the PA or ARNP instead of the physician. In the past, I agreed to see the ARNP. This year I have significant medical diagnosis that need to be discussed, so I asked to schedule with the physician. I was informed that Dr. Tomar is not accepting new patients. I advised that I am not a new patient, and was then informed that 'any patient who has not been treated by the physician prior' to that particular day, is not entitled to see her!. I am sure this is not okay with Medicare, as the physician is required to sign off on the PA and ARNP, so I am not a new patient. I need to reduce my stress, so I'm not following up with the office manager or Medicare. Unethical.

I was very comfortable and encouraged many times to check to see the Doctor was getting “everything “. Two days out I am without bruising or swelling and completely happy.
