Surgery to relieve sciatic pain & numb legs. Day 1 after surgery, absolutely no pain or numbness. I feel the best I’ve felt in 10 years!! Dr Grabel gave me a new life.

Dr. Grabel performed a successful laminectomy on me last year. The debilitating pain is totally gone. In addition to his skill, he is caring and thoughtful. He actually listens to what you have to say. The support staff in the office are polite and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Grabel!

How fortunate this community is to have such a well trained, professional and caring doctor. He takes his time explaining your condition to you and all the options available. He is very through in stating exactly what will happen when you need a specific procedure, mine was a lamenectamy and spinal fusion. I had a very positive outcome and I would highly recommend Dr. Grabel for any neurosurgical need .

I was blessed to have Dr. Zachary Grabel as my neurosurgeon for a triple laminectomy surgical procedure that completely healed 8 years of debilitating L3-5 nerve-impingement pain and life-hindering sciatica. The level of professionalism exhibited by Dr.Grabel, his office staff, and the hospital team was beyond compare in surgical competency and heartfelt, compassionate, patient-centered care. As a very active 71 y.o. surfer, paddle boarder, hiker, and bicycling enthusiast, I've resumed all these activities free of pain and limitation. Dr. Grabel was very professional, thorough, and respectful during all of my interactions with him. I consulted him because of the sciatica that I had been experiencing for several years, in spite of receiving all of the conservative treatments with no relief. He discussed the option of a laminectomy in detail, but did not attempt to persuade me to proceed. I had significant ambivalence about "back surgery", but elected to go ahead. It was a good decision as the surgery was successful, with complete symptom relief, no complications and minimal discomfort. The office and hospital staff were very professional and helpful during the entire process. I would certainly recommend that anyone with spinal problems consult Dr. Grabel to discuss possible treatments.

He explained and showed me in my X-rays and MRI every detail of my problem and how he would fix it —- and he DId! I had unsuccessful surgery from another spine surgeons 3 months earlier. Dr. Grabel was so confident and I now have total relief from sciatica pain. Additionally, he is dedicated to his patients and visited twice daily during my hospital stay.
