Muy profesional en su campo y muy amable

First time i saw Dr Castro, i feel like my case wasn’t of importance to him, I requested exams , but were declined. My condition is GERD and Hiatal Hernia , im taking lot if meds due to other conditions, what have effects on my stomach. Las time i saw him, told me that I don’t need new appointment. For 10 days i been trying to get a refill , till today ,third time i talk to the office , the message i received is that my refill was denied , that need to see Dr Castro. But the problem is that appointments are for 3 months. Looking for another specialist more professional.

Dr. Castro is a very professional, experienced and knowledgeable physician. He is extremely respectful, treating me always with decency, respect and professionalism. Highly recommended as a Gastroenterologist.

I wish I'd checked reviews for Dr. F. Castro-Pavia outside of the Cleveland Clinic website prior to scheduling an appointment ...the many poor reviews truly reflect him, and the service he renders. The man has the personality of a nail. He stood arms crossed, legs spread apart...He's somewhat arrogant, cold and just not welcoming. Additionally, he makes you feel rushed, cuts you off when asking a question, or expressing concerns related to your health, etc

I would not recommend him to anyone. He was dismissive and arrogant.

If I could give less than one star I would. Mr. Castro-Pavia was the most unprofessional and dismissive “doctors” I have ever met. I use the term doctor loosely as he basically did no more than a nurse would. His bedside manner is atrocious. He blew of my pain as being caused by depression and anxiety, because apparently he is both a GI AND and psychologist, all because of a medication I take to help with insomnia. I wouldn’t even recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. He acted like all I wanted was pain medicine and walked away from me when i was explaining to him how he was making me feel like i was making everything up. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a GI who actually cares more for his patients than making a buck.

I was referred to the Cleveland Clinic for an evaluation and (unfortunately) was Dr. Castro-Pavia was assigned to my case. He was the most impudent and uncaring doctor i have ever had reason to visit. He never read my medical records or the referral notes before seeing me. He was condescending and dismissive, even appearing pompous. I left the clinic with such distaste and dissatisfaction. He never gave me a response to the referral. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Castro-Pavia is an amazing and knowledgeable doctor.

It Was a pleasure to be taken care by Dr. Fernando Castro-Pavia. I recommend him to any body that has a gastrointestinal problems, very professional. May God Bless him and the rest of the staff that was there for me. My Colonoscopy was on 02/06/2019 amazing , no pain at all.
