Gilberto Alemar's Online Review Report Card

The worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. Performed an endoscopy, told me he didn’t know what was causing my chronic post nasal drip. Wrote prescription for Pepcid and told me if that didn’t work, he didn’t know what to tell me. No offer for a follow up. No recommendation for additional specialists to see. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I had a very unpleasant encounter with this Dr. I waited in the room for about 15 minutes before he came in. When he did come into the room, he introduced himself, with no eye contact, and passed less than 1/2 feet in front of me to obtain something. He didn’t even say, excuse me. Or with the CDC distance guidelines, he should of asked me to move so he could get what he needed. I felt totally creeped out and disrespected on all levels. Next, he goes into this triad of questions about me being another doctor’s patient and why am I not seeing! Why am I there to see him! It was almost like being chastised for even thinking I could see him. I was shocked and appalled. I explained that I was there because the previous doctor’s assistant had indicated that I had a test in my sinus, he even snapped at me to correct me with the correct term, and the assistant ordered a MRI of my sinus. I was done with this nasty and unprofessional attitude and behavior. Thus, I asked him if he had a problem seeing me? This doctor was looking at me like something was wrong with me. He again went back to questioning me about why I had decided not to see his partner in the department. At this point no was done and told him that if he did not want to see me, then fine. He was standing in a position of being bin my way of leaving the room. So, I had to ask him two to three times to get out of my way. I walked out and left. I inquired as to who I could speak with about my experience. I left my name and number for this person, but never received a phone call back. Do not visit this doctor or his partner at Cleveland Clinic. Their professionalism leaves little to be desired. I wish I could give him -0 stars

I can't say enough positive things about Dr.Alemar. He's a very thorough physician who knows his field, and was able to quickly diagnose my problem. No ENT helped us until we met Dr.Alemar and cleveland clinic. Don't waste your time and money with other ENTs, TRUST the pros at cleveland clinic. Dr.Alemar gave me my life back after a minor surgery. I healed perfectly and couldn't be happier!! Alemar is the real deal.

I HAD ACINIC CELL CARCINOMAIN IN MY MAXILLARY SINUSES IN1997. I BELIEVE I WAS 1ST PERSON AT IMMC IN JACKSON MS. HE IS THE BEST DOCTOR IN THE WORKD. FLORIDA YOU ARE BLESSED TO HAVE HIM. I WISH HE WAS IN MS

Dr. Alemar has terrible bedside manner. Either he lacks knowledge in his specialty or just not interested in helping his patients.

Finally got to the bottom of a chronic seasonal allergy issue that other ENTs failed at. Thank you is not good enough.

They canceled my long time appointments three times. Last time without any notification.

His skills saved my voice...when others said nothing could be done to help. Grateful is not a strong enough word.

What can I say about this wonderful group of nurses and assistance !!!!!! there is not enough words in this world for me to use.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh wait !!!!!! I cant forget Mary Cooper she is Magical⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now don't get me wrong but I had to leave the best for last Dr. Gilberto O. I went to Cleveland clinic for a hard mass BEHIND my right tonsil. To my shock and disbelief, after the swelling went down, the mass was still there. Despite me reminding him prior to surgery. I didn’t feel like this was a world class experience. I am going to another board certified ENT to have them look at it He put me through tonsil surgery and stated he could only prescribed a low dose narco, which isn’t true. A surgeon can prescribe three to five days worth of the proper analgesic.
