List of Hossam Elzawawy's Reviews
Best doctor ever! Dr. Elzawawy is very knowledgeable and pay attention to details. I am a lupus patient, and he was who diagnosed me. He treated my lupus carefully, even in a pregnancy period. I have not currently visiting him since I moved far away, but I would definitely try to do it again.
He has no people skills, no ability to explain tests or treatments. He is also extremely arrogant. One of the blood tests he orders, I asked what it was for. He replied that it was to complicated for me to understand. I asked google and found it was for finding sediment in the blood. When I asked to see a copy of my MRI report he told me that not only would I not understand what it said but the radiologist that wrote the report did not have the ability to understand what it said. If he had a bad bedside manner and was a good diagnostician then I would recommend him. But he is not a good diagnostician and communicates very poorly. I would recommend you use a different doctor.
Absolutely awesome!
Very professional. Was punctual and took the time to listen to my symptoms and concerns as well to examine and explain next steps to follow.
Don't know why he studied medicine. He is rude and does not get time to explain his patients. Worse experience ever! I never write reviews but don't want anyone else to waste their time with such a rude and obnoxious doctor.
Extremely arrogant and unprofessional, very rude. I decided not to continue treatment with him. I recommend people who been mistreated by his behavior complain to clinic directory and licensing department .
Went to Dr Elzawaway with extreme pain in joints. He previously diagnosed me with RA and the medications were not working appropriately for my condition. I was at a 9-10 for pain and pleaded for a different medication ... he looked at my charts and said my RA factor was lower and there was nothing wrong with me , he refused the biological medication I needed to live a normal life. I left crying. A month later I had a great Rhumatologist that diagnosed me with what I really had (AS) and I was started back in the biological meds that day!! No thanks to Dr Elzawaway I am back to work full time and mostly pain free. I do not recommend this uncaring too busy to bother Dr.
It was great !
The most arrogant unprofessional person. Treats you for a condition without a diagnosis. How do you prescribe medicine (strong) without a diagnosis. Is this even legal? Do not go to this person.
I have never seen a more unprofessional or disgusting display of malpractice in my life. I have a severe case of Systemic Lupus and this doctor had the audacity to tell me my previous doctor in another state before I moved to Florida lied to me about SLE and that I needed a therapist instead. He told me Benlysta infusions would not work on me since I didn't have Lupus. It is almost a year later, I have been on Benlysta for 7 months and I have received my first positive blood results in 2 years and PHYSICAL PROOF and multiple professional diagnosis of SLE and proof that Benlysta worked. I would not send my greatest enemy to this man STAY AWAY if you value your health or that of your loved ones. I wish I could give less than one star. This man is DANGEROUS and could have cost me my life. Shame on you, Cleveland Clinic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
