Dr. Cabral Jose M and the Cleveland Clinic, and I feel compelled to share my horrific experience. It is disappointing to witness a renowned institution like the Cleveland Clinic ignore the egregious misconduct of one of its doctors, Dr. Cabral Jose M. When I stepped into Dr. Cabral Jose M's office, I was met with an aura of unprofessionalism and indifference. His lack of empathy and disregard for my concerns were evident throughout the consultation. Instead of taking the time to understand my medical history, he rushed through the appointment, barely listening to my symptoms and dismissing my questions with arrogance. Not only was Dr. Cabral Jose M uninterested in my well-being, but his conduct was downright unethical. It became apparent that he had little regard for patient privacy, as he openly discussed sensitive information about other patients within earshot. He had no respect for my time. Often I waited for over two before he would see me. Moreover, Dr. Cabral Jose M's incompetence was palpable. His misdiagnosis and subsequent mismanagement of my condition led to severe complications and unnecessary suffering. His lack of knowledge and refusal to seek alternative opinions or collaborate with other specialists showcased a distressing level of professional negligence. However, the Cleveland Clinic's complete failure to address these grave concerns truly appalled me. Despite my attempts to raise the issue with the clinic's management, they displayed a shocking lack of accountability and indifference toward my ordeal. Witnessing an institution prioritizing patient care and safety ignore such blatant misconduct is profoundly disheartening. I urge anyone considering medical assistance at the Cleveland Clinic to exercise extreme caution, especially regarding Dr. Cabral Jose M. My experience serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the potential dangers of placing one's trust in an institution that fails to hold its doctors accountable for their actions. In conclusion, my encounter with Dr. Cabral Jose M and the Cleveland Clinic was a nightmare. I would appreciate anyone seeking quality healthcare to steer clear of this institution and its negligent doctor. It is a distressing reflection of the state of our healthcare system when professionals like Dr. Cabral Jose M are allowed to continue practicing without consequences.

HORRIBLE!!! Misdiagnosed me. Insisted that all I needed to do was lose weight. Insisted I needed bariatric surgery. After many visits I went to him while having the start of a thyroid storm; trembling, foggy brain, diffuse pain, rapid heartbeat and more... he completely dismissed it all telling me all I needed to do was get bariatric surgery and lose the weight. he refused to do blood work. I had to see my PCP the next day who is not affiliated with CC. She ran bloodwork and immediately called me to tell me my levels for my thyroid were off the charts. She recommended I go to University of Miami STAT. I went to University of Miami eccrinology dept to be evaluated. The next night I was admitted and told I was having a thyroid storm. I was immediately placed on two medication to help stop the excess thyroid hormone from going into my cells. I could have died from a thyroid storm. It is a true emergency. I was diagnosed with both Hasimotos and Graves that Cabral missed them completely. Simple antibody testing would have shown it all. I could have died on the operating table if I followed through with his suggestion to have bariatric surgery. I paid for the classes and everything required and was 3 weeks away from having that surgery. I lost my marriage of 18 because this doctor would not do the work required to delve deeper to discover why I was appearing and behaving the way I was. I explained it all to him and he ignored everything I told him. I was diagnosed with two thyroid auto immune diseases; Hashimoto's and Graves. My thyroid was very unstable making me very unstable. He discounted everything I said even when I walked in holding on to the walls in pain barely able to lift my legs with very poor vision and losing my hair in clumps down 10lbs in one week trembling like I had Parkinson's disease. I could hardly complete a sentence because of foggy brain. He treated me as if I was an anxious hysterical mental woman. Yes, when people are hyper with too much thyroid hormone they can appear to have mental issues that is why ordering labs is so important to rule out underlying medical issues. I had my thyroid removed and cancer was discovered. Hyperthyroidism can cause anxiety, insomnia, hyperactivity and is often misdiagnosed but this was a endocrinologist who should have known all of this instead of trying to make me appear like I was mentally ill. AND he was always late and full of himself. He speaks with such arrogance and all knowing. All women have PCOS and Metabolic disorder, insulin resistance and anxiety to him .Shame on you, Cabral. Karma to you!! Be careful with this guy.

I am a type one insulin dependent. Diabetic, and have been for over 65 years. Dr.Cabral is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I am content to wait for him, ashe takes the necessary time to care for each patient.

I have been seeing him for more than 4 years and he is always more than 1 hour and half late for his appointment. He is a good doctor but why can’t his agenda be better managed?

50 years of kidney transplants and so many doctors. Dr. Cabral was wonderful. No mansplaining or arrogance.

Always super late for his appointments

3 hours late …but they give you a 15 minutes grace period ! This so almost too funny !!! Staff was really rude. So was he. All in all a waste of half a day.

On my first appointment upon checking in I was told that Dr. Cabral was running 1 hour late and that he always runs 1 hour late!! I leave my house 1 ½ hours early to be on time. Because I live far away I make several appointments on the same day and leave ample time between. I will schedule my follow up appointment with another doctor. My time is as important as their time is to them. I do not understand how Cleveland Clinic in Weston FL tolerates this habitual tardiness.

A total waste of time. I had to wait for 2 hs and then he saw me for 7'. He was disrespectful, arrogant, oblivious to my concerns and not knowledgeable at all. An awful experience.

I am a patient of Dr. Cabral and had a brain tumor 12 years ago. I recently called his office to request an appt. or blood work because I have the same symptoms back again. I got the blood work done as ordered, the numbers came back very bad and pointing to the return of the tumor. I went to see the PA and she was nasty and did nothing for me except order me new blood work because she said I should have taken the test 2 hours earlier (despite directions.) Well, today I went to another doctor and my brain tumor is back. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE.
