Dr Navia performed aortic valve replacement, and an aortic aneurysm mend before rupture. This was my second open heart procedure. I had my aortic valve replaced in 1993. This time around was a much bigger surgery. From the moment I spoke with Dr Navia I felt the confidence I was looking for in a surgeon. He answered my big questions, and explained everything that I needed to know. This was very important to me as I was faced with this big decision on my own. The procedures were a success and almost 8 weeks later I am getting closer to full a recovery. My ability to lead a normal life, and exercise was extremely important to me and my quality of life. I am getting closer to that every day. I highly recommend that if you have any issues that require a consult with a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, that you consult with Dr Navia. He and his Nurse Practitioner Lauren Gonzalez, who by the way took excellent care of me post op are life savers and excellent care givers.

Following a heart attack on a roller-coaster at Cedar Point in 2001, I wound up at Cleveland Clinic where Dr. Navia did a triple bypass. I just wanted to provide an update. My health is good; my local cardiologist is pleased with my health. I did require a couple of stents about 5 years ago. But I need to credit Navia for preserving my life. Thank you!

I lost a full day driving to and waiting for Dr Navia who was a no show. No communication from his staff even on why. I would’t recommend him.
