Karla Arce's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Karla Arce is the best I’ve been seeing her since 2017, after I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. She pays keen attention to my blood sugar readings and ensure to make adjustments when necessary.

Dr Arce was very nice, and took her time to answer every question I had. I even learn about a direct prescription program for the medicine I need and my savings are about 50%.

Post Pituitary Adenoma surgery, Dr. Arce from Cleveland Clinic was recommended from a Miami University Hospital Staff. From day one, she seemed genuinely interested in my case and helping me out with all my medical issues that come after removal of pituitary tumor. She has been available to me via telemedicine appointments and even during the holidays have taken time to answer questions via portal messages. This has led to my outmost respect and trust. After dealing with a multitude of endocrinologist in the past 10 years, I am grateful that I have found a doctor such as her that takes the time to listen to my current issues, monitor my hormones and works diligently on trying to balance my hormones and make me functional again. It is a long process so it is important to have a trustworthy doctor. Appointments with her are a bit difficult to get but sometimes a good doctor is worth the wait. I highly recommend her.

Sadly reviews have become a way to try and destroy someones reputation however Dr. Arce is one of the best Endocrinologists I’ve met. I would be dead if it wasn’t for her because I was “mis-managing” my diabetes. And she educated me and taught me on what to do. Maybe the person that wrote the previous review didn’t want to hear the truth! I have moved away from Broward to Dade County so I have not been able to go see her in 3 years……and every other doctor I’ve seen, even in the “All Mighty Mount Sinai”, do not compare to Dr. Arce. I miss her. I strongly recommend seeing her! Thanks for listening!

Doctor is very careless. Doesn’t even act like she cares. Many other great doctors out there who will listen and care about their patients, she isn’t one of them.

This doctor is snide, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Broke the trust between any doctor in that facility. Did not listen to any of my concerns, much better doctors out there who will care and listen. She is not one of those doctors.

You can tell the doctors who care and those who are going trough the motions. Dr Arce warmed up after chatting with my Spanish speaking wife. However, I experienced her as cold, unfeeling and non-curious ... curiosity IMHO is a sign of empathy and emotional intelligence.

Visited with Dr. Arce twice before I was passed off to a physician's assistant, who was kind but did not help me at all with Diabetes Management. After 2nd visit I called to make appt and was told dr was on vacation with no set date for return. 4th follow up appt request was told the same. I specifically asked to meet with DR on visit 5 and was set up with the PA. When I showed up for PA appt the very elusive dr walked right by me down the hallway. I would not recommend anyone go to Cleveland Clinic; they treat their patients like cattle. It's horrible.
