Dr. Roy gave me a lot of hope when I saw all the options he could do to help me heal. The NIH said they couldn’t help me. But he had so many solutions and was so animated. You can tell he loves what he does and quite frankly, he’s very good at it! At first hearing you have a stage 4 cancer diagnosis, you panic and all you do is try and look for success stories or try and find solace in your doctor and see what he/she thinks about your prognosis (as we are all different). He offered me peace in knowing he would remove the disease. His confidence in himself and me, gave me real hope to hold onto. I’m so grateful I met him before and during chemo. He will never know how much that visit helped me show up everyday. He’s so informative, kind and humble. He really advocates for his patients. He’s one of the best surgeons I’ve met at the Cleveland clinic. I can’t thank him enough for saving my life and for his kindness. We don’t know when we will go- but he insured that as far as my cancer goes- he’s got my back. And he has demonstrated that in the visits and getting acquainted with one another. See him, you will be in good hands.

What a magnificent and highly skilled surgeon Dr. Roy is. Like most surgical procedures, there are basic and highly complex surgeries. Unfortunately for me, my gallbladder removal surgery was highly complex (obstruction, bile duct issues, excessive hardened gallstones, etc.). But FORTUNATELY for me, my doctor was Dr. Roy. Dr. Roy delivered what can only be described as a fantastic result. Post surgery I had minimal pain and within 48 hours there was no pain. Within 3 days I was back to a normal life. ( I am still amazed at that). From consultation to pre surgery to surgery to post surgery, Dr. Roy explained everything in detail and welcomed questions. Dr. Roy has a great bedside manner. I cannot thank Dr. Roy and his staff enough. What a tremendous team. If you are experiencing gallbladder and related complications, look no further than Dr. Roy. World class and the best.

He is a amazing Doctor

Dr. Roy has performed two surgeries on my liver, one laparoscopic to remove a couple of small sections, and a full liver resection. On both occasions my recovery period was much less than expected. And now, a little more than three months following the liver resection, I am well on my way to being cancer free. I highly recommend Dr. Roy and his team.

All this guy wanted to do was operate first for a gall stone that wasn't there and then for cancer when all prior tests were negative.
