STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AT ANY COST. What a horrific experience I had with Dr. Munera. I am in utter shock the way this Doctor practices medicine. Dr. Munera pushed medication on me constantly, after caving in I decided to take one of the medications. Shortly after I landed in the hospital for an unrelated reason for 6 nights. During my stay I was seen by a respected internal medicine doctor that did further labs to determine if the medication I was taking was necessary. After the results came back the internal medicine doctor at the hospital explained to me the exams that were done and why there was no need to continue to take the medication that Dr. Munera has strongly urged, I take. Following my visit after the hospital I presented to Dr Munera the information that was presented to me I then told her if she would like me to continue the medication that I would like a medical explanation given another practicing doctor told me there was no need for it; a conclusion he reached by doing further testing than Dr. Munera ever decided to do. As soon as I communicated this to Dr. Munera her demeanor changed and didn’t offer a reply. A reoccurring theme during my experience at Broward Health with Dr. Munera, anytime I had questions regarding my health she either became combative or felt offended and would not reply. I saw my health as the goal between Dr. Munera and myself. However, Dr. Munera did not see us as a team trying to solve a problem or reach a goal. She was arrogant and dismissive. My input had no value and was unwilling to answer questions regarding my health. During my last visit she revealed to me what was in her notes and did not mention that I rejected medication due to the extensive testing and a different medical opinion. Instead, she stated that I was just strongly against medication. When in fact she ignored why I stopped taking the medication and had baseless reasoning for it. Dr. Munera was also attempting to treat me for things that I did not suffer from that was beyond her scope of practice such as the constant push of psychiatric medication. When I addressed this to her, I asked her what she knew about my mental health. Dr. Muneras notes had no substantive information based on merit, I had never spoken to Dr. Munera in detail about my mental health, yet she was very eager to push medication on me and write all sorts of baseless claims in her notes. This doctor is extremely arrogant and doesn’t like her authority to be questioned, her response to the questions she selectively chooses to answer are logically flawed and lack substance. I have never had such a terrible experience with a medical professional. I am concerned for what she selectively chose to put in her notes about me and I am disappointed that Broward Health would allow a doctor to practice in this fashion. Do not trust such a human being with zero humility with your health. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AT ANY COST. It is beyond me that this person is a practicing health professional. I have never argued with a doctor or have had a doctor raise their voice at me. Extremely unprofessional.

Very professional ,will explain everything about you treatment and medication your taking . Also waiting time its minumum

I have the pleasure of having Dr Munera as my PCP. She is always very patient with me and takes the time to answer all of my questions. She will not hesitate to refer you to a specialist if needed. Before seeing Dr Munera, I had seen doctors that did not like to refer any specialists, even though my situation required it. Doctor Munera, on the other hand, always provides all referrals needed with no hesitation and in a timely manner. I recommend Dr Munera because I feel she truly cares about my health and I don't feel as another number.

I admire and adore Dr. Munera. I wish more doctors had her COMPASSION, LISTENING SKILLS, and CARING MANNER. She is the "BEST" in the physician pool. Thank you Dr. Munera for always being there for us. May GOD always keep you healthy so you may continue to help others.

Dra. Munera is an excellent doctor, she took the necessary time to understand me and to provide me with the information in order that I, as a patient, can understand my health situation. She is very profesional and guides me on how to improve my health Thank you Dra. Munera

This is an amazing doctor that takes time and does no rush you like most doctors. She is wealthy of knowledge and I highly recommend. She is not just my doctor my entire family goes to her.

Dr. Munera and Broward Health have been a fantastic find for me and my medical needs since moving to Florida. I recently tore a tendon and needed both a surgeon and a primary care physician as quickly as possible to resolve it. I consider myself very lucky to have found Dr. Munera, and she has become my personal general practitioner as a result. She is an excellent internist who genuinely considers my charts and feedback when discussing my health, and is very invested in my wellbeing. I didn’t intend to write a review, but felt the ratings on here did not reflect the amazing care I’ve been given.

Dr. Munera is the best. She is caring and always fits me in when I need her. She takes her time with you, never rushing you out like most doctors. I recommend get to ask my friend.

I don’t like this place, I’ve been with a cough for more then 2 weeks, I have a negative Covid test and even though they won’t see me. This is Crazy how a “healthcare provider “ won’t see me because of cough 😷 I though a cough could be for many different reasons but now everything is Covid and doctores are scare to see you!!!
