Today, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, I accompanied my wife for her first appointment at 2:45 PM, and after waiting 10 minutes in the waiting room, the person in the front desk informed her that the Dr. could not attend her because he had a deposition. I don't understand how they gave my wife an appointment if the Dr. was going to be busy. My wife is also a Dr. and she was shocked at how irresponsible the front desk staff handled the situation. Of course we will look for another office where they understand that our time is as important as theirs.

Dr. Lum replaced both my arthritic hips. I was immediately pain free and able to walk without aid. Dr. Lum’s patient focused treatment, easier understood explanations, and pain management procedures got me back mountain biking quickly. Dr. Lum and his staff are great.Thank you, Dr. Lum!

Dr. Lum performed replacement for both my arthritic, bone loss hips. I was immediately pain free and able to walk without any aid. I am a very active 69 year old, swimming, hiking, and mountain biking. After the operations, my riding group was amazed at how much better I was riding with my new hips. Dr. Lum is very patient focused in his treatment, and explanations of the procedures and healing process. His anterior approach reduced the trauma, pain and recuperation time and gets you to your new normal quicker. Dr. Lum’s pain management procedure is concisely written and easy to follow. I experience minimal pain during recuperation. Me and my family greatly appreciate Dr. Lum and his staff. Thank You!

Dr. Lum is great. The office support is not good. So if you want calls to be returned, medication filled/refilled or questions answered; this is not the place for you. Extremely frustrating and upsetting, especially when you’ve just had major surgery.

Dr.Lum is very professional and he did an awesome surgery on my knee. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. Thank you for everything!

Hello to all, I highly recommend Dr Lum and his team for any of your shoulder needs. He is a true profesional and very clear when explaining how the procedures work. I had left rotator cuff and Labrum surgery. It’s been 5 weeks and I’m very pleased with my results and his guidance on my way to a full recovery. Vic

Had major surgery performed by Dr. Lum, he’s fine. To make a very long story a little shorter, this is not the place for you if you want calls answered, messages given and/or any level of patient care when it comes to follow up & after care. Multiple messages have been left, kind and polite requests do nothing except leave me in tears with pain and a feeling of being absolutely disregarded.

Dr. Lum is a great Dr. I have been associated wit South Florida institute of medicine for over 20 years and know the types of doctors associated with that orthopedic organization. That is when i met Dr. Lum. Sine our first conversation i knew he was going to be the best for me. He has a great bedsid manner and takes time ti explain whats going on. I am very pleased with the sergury and his follow up. If you need a good hip Dr. Go to Dr. Lum

Dr Zachary Lum ,the best of the best ,he did my hip replacement and the follow up easy ,communication with his team were excellent ,now after one month of the surgery am already 100% . The best experience for a big health procedure !!!!!!

Recovery for hip replacement is a month ahead of schedule. I am back at work after 8 weeks. Thrilled with the care and therapy I received at South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine with Dr. Zachary Lum. Would recommend Dr. Lum to anyone.
