List of Katrina Abadilla Agito's Reviews
I would give her more stars than 5! She has great personality and very professional. I came to her for weight loss management and felt no judgement from Dr. Agito. She found out I have problem with my metabolism when all other docs look at me just fat and lazy. I lost 50 pounds and got my sexy back!

The way Dr. Agito talked to and treated my mother and I is inexcusable. She was cold, condescending, pompous, arrogant, and lacked any kind of empathy. She frequently cut us off and talked over us, and also offered passive aggressive comments throughout the appointment. When I let her staff know of her behavior, all they said was, "Ok." I have found another endocrinologist who actually listens and cares with a clear action plan for my treatment. I will never see Dr. Agito again and will inform everyone I know needing endocrinology services to not seek her counsel (or lack thereof). It was the most horrible physician experience I have had to date.

The worst experience ever. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. I’m a retired RN and I take an active roll in my care and ask a lot of questions. She was so angry that I was asking them that 5 minutes into the appointment she was shaking!!! I can see why I was able to get an appointment with her and not with another. She mocked the fact that I had had metalosis ( from metal on metal hip replacements bilaterally of which I did receive settlements from the companies for both hips) and it was documented in my records as well as the bilateral hip revisions done by Dr. Dean Cole. Everything she was saying contradicted my previous doctors that had retired. ( hence all the questions). She unprofessionally bashed the previous doctor (who’s retired now). She said she only looked at TSH and any T3 T4 didn’t matter. She wanted to take me off thyroid meds nor do any follow up with the other nodules and thought I was a nut job because I was concerned about the carcinogenic effect of chromium and cobalt poisoning I had had and asked if I should get follow up with pet scans or something in the future. STAY AWAY if getting questions answered is important or if being an active participant in your care and getting questions answered is something you need. So I went to a new doctor and thank the Lord in did. My husband had thyroid cancer 10 years ago and I was finally able to get in to the endocrinologist he’s been seeing for the past decade. That office was amazing! ALL my questions were answered without getting defensive or bashing my previous doctor or getting angry. Gave me choices and talked to me about 4 different meds to use for the new diagnosis insulin resistance and what was best for me. Was happy with my thyroid meds and those labs and just as important they understood my concern with the carcinogenic effect of years of exposure to heavy metal with the hip implants and were going to talk with me as to where I should go for follow up on that front. They didn’t disregard the other smaller thyroid nodules and want to continue doing biopsies and sonograms as needed. The difference between Agito and Dr Montoya’s office were night to day.
Wonderful staff and very compassionate doctor. I felt comfortable talking with Dr. Agito about my concerns and she addressed my concerns very professionally.
I was already frustrated with multiple doctors being unable to help me, so I thought seeing a specialist, Dr. Agito, would be the best next step. She had me do some bloodwork, and in my follow up appointment with her, she told me that my bloodwork was fine and that I just needed to diet and exercise to manage symptoms because I’m overweight. I eat well, exercise regularly and am overall very healthy. The entire appointment was less than 5 mins. Blaming random symptoms on my weight is lazy and does nothing to help me get better. I felt completely dismissed and shamed.
Dr. Agito is part of the AdventHealth system and she is in a new office adjacent to a new hospital in Orlando. Whenever I have a question I can use the patient portal and I get a quick answer. I enjoy my visits. Dr. Agito is prepared and I am too!
Dr agito is D BEST. She has been my endocrinologist in ocala for many years and I followed her in orlando. Very easy to schedule. Telemedicine available.
Very good listener and thoroughly looks for answers. Involved me in the decision making for what is best for me and my health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
