I respected her as a doctor. She did not respect me as a patient seeking answers. When her staff forewarned me about her demeanor - there's your sign.

Worst experience with this woman. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by being there

She's been my doctor for 3 years - I was in bad shape then....her expertise got me on the right medication and I'm so much better. She's very knowledgeable and listens to concerns. The posts here of the doctor or nurses being rude I really don't understand. This office is business like may be that upsets some. It took me three weeks to a month first visit with referral...then every 2 - 4 months depending on my condition and lab reports. I never wait more than 5-10 minutes when I arrive for an appointment.

I will not go into complete detail, however, As a patient, (she is not my Dr, just happened to be on call), I had some questions and was looking for advice in the middle of the night. She was not extremely rude, however, as a patient I shouldn't be made to feel like I'm a defendant on trial having to explain myself. Accusations were made without knowing the facts and she was clearly annoyed due to having a call come in late at night. **Gessler Clinic, PLEASE don't have Physician's on call if it's a burden on them. please just stop offering the service to patients.** I really, really like my Dr. He's very knowledgeable, down to Earth, and very easy to talk to. ***Note: This is in NO WAY a reflection on Gessler clinic. I have always been treated with courtesy, and the Dr's do genuinely care about their patients, and have always gone out of their way to find answers to every concern, presented. SIDE NOTE: If I need to call again after hrs and I have a better experience, I will update my review. Thank you.

She only does a 5 minute office visit and never checked my hands or my toes. When I would try to tell her about a problem are would blow me off. I think she is spread too thin. She is a good doctor, she would be a great doctor if she was given more time.

Today I met with Donna, before seeing the Dr, and she was great! She explained how the Dr works & what would go on during & after my appointment. Both her & Nina followed up with me before I left & again, they were great. Dr Lopez-Mendez was on time, extremely pleasant, knowledgeable & thorough. She explained everything she was going to do & what the plans were going forward. If you’re looking for a rheumatologist who will do her best by you, look no forward!
