Alain Delgado's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing him for 11yrs now and have never had a doctor that I trust as much he's very professional and caring. He's definitely an amazing doctor.

I like Dr. Delgado very much.,.

I was sent to Dr. Delgado by my new primary physician. I had been falling a lot, I had head trauma, which caused terrible headaches. It took a while to get in to see Dr. Delgado, but finally I got there. At my visit he suggested I have some blood work done. He would refer me to another Dr. in his office. Well when they called to tell me my results of the blood test, I ask if he had referred me, to another Dr. At that time they didn't know, so I ask to have another appointment with Dr. Delgado. The second visit wasn't pleasant he snapped at me and said I am a brain dr. I don't treat any other issues. But after I was so shocked at his demeanor I think he felt bad. that's when he ordered a MRI of my cervical. Now this is in May. July 22nd I had a MRI done in Davenport. There was such confusion , I went and was told I was in the wrong place and had to be rescheduled. Ok finally had it done, and still to this day I know nothing of the results. MANY MANY calls to his office with no return calls or recognition of my existence. I came from Northern Virginia and have never been treated the way I have been treated here. The sad thing is my husband was also referred to that office just a different dr. on July 18th. He was to have a sleep study done and a MRI of his brain. He hasn't heard a word on either of those. So really it sound like the staff in those offices are incompetent, or just plain lazy. It is sad we people have to depend on Doctors like this.

Dr. Delgado is the best,😃‼️ have had many Neurologist in many states, he's my favorite..!!

A terrible staff, unconcerned, patient is NOBODY. Never get return calls cannot make follow up appointment. Does not have a place for patient portal to follow with instructions or results of visit. waited 4 months to get MRI, was sent to wrong faculty had to reschedule. The reviews for these doctor's are awful, I can see why. My husband was referred by our Primary Dr. to that same office an he went, was tested and told he needed a brain MRI, and a sleep study. This appointment was July 18th. He still has heard nothing, no follow up from Dr or the staff.

I’ve been seeing dr. Delgado for years for MS… I love that he’s patient and kind and always up on the latest research… the ONLY issue I have is his receptionist Eileen… You can never get her to answer the phone, it ALWAYS goes to voicemail and then she responds at her leisure… I have learned over the years to just use patient portal and communicate directly with dr Delgado through the message board… He’s very responsive with that… just truly frustrating when you can’t get through to his nurse when needed

0 star review.. Extremely Unprofessional! Not only do they have Poor scheduling, they are rude. I had to wait 1hr 32 min before I got called to the back on top of that another 37 min in the room!! I complained to the Old lady receptionist about wait, she did not apologize whatsoever she needs to retire asap she was so rude told me if I thought Lakeland office is ridiculous I should go to winter haven. Shame on this practice they need train front desk to better manage the office and schedule patients accordingly!!! Don’t squeeze all patients in at the same time.. so upset I hate this office already But with my new ins hmo plan it’s hard to get referrals so I had to stay..

Doctor is great. Staff is terrible, rude and uncaring. Wanted to make my mothers appt and she was going to him for years, she loved him !! Staff worried about insurance and records and other non-essential materials. I wish the doctors knew how the staff treats their patients. (btw ..... she has medicare and united health, along with AARP) Health care is declining greatly, the staff sets the scenery for patients ...............

I've suffered with migraines for years, Dr.Delgado is open to try new things,and has always delivered just the right medicine

Dr Delgado is a very professional doctor with a great bedside manner. His staff is always professional and organized.
