Ana Lipson's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ana Lipson is the best pain doctor I've found in 20 years. Received Facet neck injections that really work every 9 months. She helps me to stay active in retirement , encouraging my gym attendance. Dr Lipson is encouraging and brilliant and intuitive. Best of the best!

Over a year of treatment (injections in upper spine), I still had pain and the severe headache over left eye. Tired of taking tramadol and NSAID. Going to a Neurologist now.

Have had 7 epidural injections for my Spinal Stenosis. They worked at preventing pain in my legs for anywhere from 7 months to just 3 weeks. Most averaged 3 to 4 months. I had gone to another pain management doctor for 10 treatments over the years starting I 2014. All were successful except the last 3. With those, I woke up screaming because the pain was so bad. The Doctor explained that he is limited in the amount of sedation he can administer due to the fact that he is working in his office and that if I saw a doctor who worked in a Surgical center ( with operating room and facilities) they could regulate the sedation amount. Have not woken during the procedures as yet. Just had another procedure on 5/15/20. All went well. Hope it lasts for more than 3 weeks. I Dr Lipson is great. Very attentive to my needs. Listens to me carefully. And has a great "bedside manner"

Helps me to control the severe pain of CRPS. Keeps me moving. I had spent lots of time in bed and on fentanyl and she got me off narcotics and up and moving.

Dr. Lipson and her team take all steps necessary to address your pain. I've never had to wait long for an appointment.

What kind of doctor refuses to even see a prospective patient? After a month of trying to get a response, I was told the "doctor" after reviewing records, could not help my son. Mind you, he has a diagnosed issue that can be helped with a simple procedure that specialists at a reputable hospital gave him to alleviate pain. I guess reading about a patient is much better than actually seeing and speaking with a patient. He was also told on the phone that "You know. We aren't going to give you pain medication," clearly insinuating that my son really only wants drugs and possibly is not in pain. That is insulting and incompetent. I would be very careful about wasting your time and money on a "doctor" who diagnoses a patient without seeing said patient or NOT even speaking to the prospective patient. Thanks to "doctor" Lipson, my son had to endure a month of unnecessary intense pain, believing he would be able to speak with a competent doctor, only to be strung along and not even seen, but "diagnosed" and insulted.

Dr. Lipson is the BEST!!. She truly cares about her patients and it shows. Once she takes Devoted Health Care Medicare Insurance I will be going right back to her.

Dr. Lipson is a kind, caring doctor who takes her time to get to the bottom of your issue. I moved over an hour away from her office but continue to travel to the area to see her.

Saw Dr. Lipson in her office and was impressed with her knowledge and demeanor. However, after scheduling me for an epidural procedure at her surgical center my impression was altered drastically. My scheduled arrival time (10:15 AM) was 1 1/2 hours prior to my actual procedure appointment (11:45 AM) time which I accepted but when my procedure time approached I asked the front office personnel when I might expect to be called back and was informed that the Dr. was running 2-3 hours behind. I asked why and was told the Dr was "overbooked" for the day. I stated that it was unacceptable for me because my driver would not be able to stay that long. I cancelled the days procedure for that reason and left. Dr's office rescheduled the procedure and upon arrival today I asked if the schedule was going to be close to on time. Was told that the Dr was, once again, running 2-3 hours late. I left again. I cannot understand how a Dr can expect to be respected when she shows so little respect for her patients. I will not return.

Dr. Lipson is a wonderful physician. She is knowledgeable, caring, and highly skilled. It is worth the couple hours travel time to see her. After my first 3 treatments, I am out of the wheelchair. My next three are scheduled and I am very hopeful for reduced pain and an increased ability to ambulate. And as an ER/ICU RN, I am not easily impressed so she has to be a quintessential physician!
