Barry Nash's Online Review Report Card

After a couple of years with Dr. Nash, I am going to find a different Doc to trust my medical care and medical decisions to. His solution to my issues . . . "Drink more water and stay away from Mayonnaise" . . . Extremely predictable. Like the old Nash auto, Dr. Nash is history with me. I want a doctor who shows an interest in my medical issues. I want a doctor who will listen. I want a doctor who will read my medical history before an appointment. I want a doctor who gives me confidence with his proposed treatment. "Drink more water and stay away from Mayonaise" is not very pro-active. Just doesn't work for me. I love water . . . and haven't knowingly had mayonnaise since I was a kid. I don't like it. Good bye, Dr. Nash.

He never listens to me and I want to go off one of medication and he said no that my case was too complicated. He brushes me off during my visits that's why I want to go back to Dr. Savage He listens to my needs.

The doctor will sit with you. Talk. Look at your ears nose. Then say something they don’t do. No explanation but sure will brush you off to another doctor or facility, but only after repeatedly asking you on almost every visit your diet and exercise routine.

I went to see Dr. Nash for a complete check-up because I had not had one in over ten years. I thought he did a pretty good job checking me out, and he asked me some questions, and listened to what I had to say. I will be having some additional test at his recommendation and have a follow-up visit in a couple of weeks. I would say my visit went well and he spent I would say about the normal amount of time with me considering it was my first visit and need to have some typical blood work (lab test) done to get an overall condition of my health. He did recommend a specialist for one issue I was having which I figured he would. All in all I was satisfied with my visit, he answered my questions and explained things in a way that I could understand and I didn't get the feeling that I was being rushed. Will see how the follow-up visits go, so far I'm good with no complaints.

I responded that I preferred the pain clinic appointment first so I could be properly evaluated prior to PT. “Hmm” was his response. I clarified that I would run out of medications before my clinic appt. Dr. Nash advised to take vitamin D to help with pain. I explained that sudden stopping pain medication would cause severe symptoms and asked for alternative options. He had none. Not even to find another clinic with sooner availability. I was confounded. Dr. Nash made no effort to provide help.
