Carlos Gabriel's Online Review Report Card

Good evening Dr. Gabriel: My name is Lourdes Rodriguez Perez and, I went to your office today because your office called me and told me to go see you in order to discuss my mamogram. I saw your nurse practioner (very nice person) and, to my disappointment, she told me exactly what the letter from the Bond radiology department told me: My mamo was negative and my breast were densed. For this consultation I had a copay of $50 which I feel is very unfair. I complied with your office request because I thought that there was something else going on with my mamogram. I think your office should consider senior citizens when it comes to having them visit your office for no significant reason. I feel I should get my copay refunded as I am in a very tight budget and can't be paying $50 so that a medical attendant can tell me in person what the clinic told me via a letter. This doesn't mean that I won't have you as my doctor; on the contrary, you a fine doctor; however, this is wrong and I won't let this happen again. Thank you, Lourdes Rodriguez Perez

I recently had a new patient appointment with Dr. Gabriel at his winter haven location. I did not have to wait and was roomed before my scheduled appointment time. He made me feel comfortable during the exam and answered all the questions I had. I chose Dr. Gabriel as my new gynecologist after he came highly recommended by my co-worker, and I am glad I did! I was very happy with my experience and will recommend him to my friends and family.

He is probably the best obgyn I have ever been to. He took the time to go through my history. He listened to all my concerns and questions and never once made me feel like a I was eating his time . He is so down to earth and so not stuffy, and will explain everything in a way that is easy to understand (doesn't just say medical terms). He was the type of doctor that you see in movies and go "I wish i had someone like that". He is amazing! The office was clean and well organized. The receptionists were sweet and friendly . Ive already had 2 children and this is my third and i just wish i had found him sooner .

Dr Gabriel is by far one of the best OBGYNS I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I called his office and his receptions answered the phone immediately and asked me about what services I needed. Once I told her that I needed an annual exam & an appointment for a mammogram and they told me that they had a slot open up that afternoon. The office was beautiful and clean and the nurses called me to the exam room 5 minutes before my appointment was scheduled for. Dr. Gabriel walked in at the exact time my appointment was for! He answered all of my questions and treated me with such kindness and compassion. I went to Dr. Gabriel on a friend's recommendation just to get a check up. My simple visit lead me to my new doctor! If you are seeking a laid back comprehensive obgyn then Dr. Gabriel is your guy!

Dr Carlos Gabriel is the best OB/GYN in winter haven and Lakeland area. Dr. Gabriel is very professional, kind and very patient with his patients, always take his time to answer all my questions, never felt rushed. His office is beautiful and very clean. His staff are very kind and helpful. I go to both offices in winter haven and Lakeland. I recommended him to all my family and friends. I will keep him forever.

I am so lucky to have met Dr. Gabriel. He truly cares for his patients and it constantly shows. Dr. Gabriel is an active listener, non-judgemental, friendly, and most importantly he offers the best evidence based standard of care. He actually takes the time to talk in depth with you to make sure you understand everything. Dr. Gabriel provides services that other providers do not. He was the only doctor to offer me safe, non-invasive, effective treatments for my painful periods.

Dr. Gabriel takes the time to listen to each of my concerns. He takes me seriously and genuinely cares about helping find a solution as well as providing the highest quality care. I have been a loyal patient for years now. Not every doctor is like him. He is special and has a true gift. I feel safe in his hands. Thank you Dr Gabriel for all that you have done for me!

Dr. Gabriel and his staff are awesome to deal with, they all treat you with kindness and respect your not just another patient to them. It's nice to know that there are still doctors out there that sincerely care about their patients and works to find the best way to solve any issues you may have and I had plenty and now I'm all set. Although I have preventative coverage, his office never billled it as such (was patient for 2 years). Last appt I never saw doctor - was a nurse practitioner. Would have appreciated being told that when I scheduled appt. His nurse also never returned call to my treating/primary care physician (and they are both at Bond Clinic).

Thank you to Dr. Gabriel and his staff for a wonderful experience after dealing with such an embarrassing issue. I love the better bladder center!
