Worst appointment in my life! I won't be back! Most condescending doctor I've ever met and as a registered nurse that means a lot!

I always felt that she was judging me and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Because zero stars is not an offered option. I moved to Winter Haven within the past year and needed to find a new primary care physician. Dr. Farrell was on my insurance company's preferred provider list but she is not preferred by anyone I know. I found her to be very combative, condescending and just plain rude. So much so that I ended the appointment before the exam even started. I've since asked for recommendations on Facebook for other primary care physicians in the area and have had others mention these same qualities when describing her. Buyer beware!Wish I had looked at other web reviews PRIOR to making my appointment. The majority have rated her 1 star. Lesson learned.from another patient:This is the kind of Dr who is not open minded, does not like it when you dare to question or ask about alternative suggestions. If you want a woman Dr because they are more empathetic... you're in the wrong Drs office!

To say I’m furious is an understatement! I’m new to the area & needed an infectious disease dr so I used Google to find one, Dr Farrell’s name & Bond Clinic came up so I called. I ended up speaking to Dr Farrell’s new receptionist (I found out today that she’s new). I asked if the dr treated for a certain condition & she said she wasn’t sure but that she thought so. I asked her to put me on hold & ask. She came back & said she did so I scheduled an appointment. Unfortunately the dr didn’t have anything for 2 weeks but because I was desperate & had no choice, I agreed.Well, I get there today & the Dr’s not to pleasant nurse informed me that the dr is no longer an infectious diseases dr, that she’s an internist now. I explained how desperate my situation was & what happened when I called. She said something like “oh yeah, I remember that. Our new receptionist asked me if we treated your condition & I told her that you should come in & if the dr didn’t treat for it we’d direct you to the right type of dr”. I told her that there was no way I would have waited 2 weeks for the dr to give me the name of some other dr. She then went to ask the dr if she would treat me anyway. The dr said no because she hasn’t been an infectious disease dr in a very long time.I waited 2 weeks for NOTHING!If you’re new to Bond Clonic I have a suggestion, find another practice where the person answering the phone knows what they’re talking about!

I am a new patient of Dr. Cathy Farrell. I found her to be straightforward and very thorough in her evaluation and recommendations for my health. She spent a good amount of time with me on my first visit, actually looked at me instead of just the computer, and did not hesitate to provide honest comments. Her staff is amazingly competent and friendly. Wish there were more like she and her staff.

This is the kind of Dr who is not open minded, does not like it when you dare to question or ask about alternative suggestions. If you want a woman Dr because they are more empathetic... you're in the wrong Drs office!

Arrogant and judgmental. If you want a female Dr because they are better listeners and more empathetic, you wont find one in this office. For someone caring, go elsewhere. This is one of those Drs that think they're god, dont dare question or suggest alternatives.
