F’d my dad’s eye up!

Dr. Damon Welch and his staff were excellent! Crystal, Wendy, Julie, Amna, and Cassi walked me through my cataract surgeries pleasantly and professionally. Kayla, Marjorie, and Lidia were extremely helpful and reliable when I needed assistance filing insurance claims for reimbursement. David and Jesse (2 males nurses) were great in the OR (at least, I think that’s their names…I was happy in my twilight state!) It was an overall great experience and I recommend this group to anyone needing cataract surgery

Dr. Damien Welch took an oath to care for patients and to not inflict any harm. He is more concerned about padding his wallet. He provides substandard care. Furthermore, some of the staff are rude and inept, and don't expect an apology for any mistakes that they or Dr. Welch make.

Dr Welch was very forthcoming and honest about my eye health and procedures. He had done my cataract surgeries and now I need blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) surgery. I trust him completely and highly recommend this whole group/practice. Everyone in the office from front staff to Carolyn and Astride the Opthalmic Assistants, Anna who did my testing, Bridgette who assisted with Dr. Welch and Cassidy my Surgety Coordinator were very kind, caring, helpful and super friendly! They deserve 10 stars!

Eye surgery? Scary thought! I researched eye doctors in my insurance network. I was very happy when Dr. Mark Sevigny issued a referral to Dr. Damon Welch of Eye Specialists of Mid Florida to remove the cataracts that had developed in my eyes. The fact that Dr. Welch has performed tens of thousands of these procedures was VERY reassuring! On my evaluation visit I found a professional environment on every level. The facilities look like new and the technology is leading edge. Doctors Damon Welch and Daniel Welch and every member of their staff I came into contact with were easy to talk to and behaved in a professional manner. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility if you need treatments of this type!

Great Facility in Sebring, on time, and professional thru out! Great technology and very experienced Doctors and staff. I have to say I would recommend Dr. Welch to anyone.

I recently reviewed Dr. Welch Sr. I had no idea father & son were doctors at the practice. I was scheduled w/Damon from Dr. Patail /Haines City to rule out carcinoma. Extremely stressful going into the apt. After over 1 hr wait he walked in without introducing himself. Looked at my eyes, squished them said something to the tech and started walking out. I asked “anything of concern” his reply “we will talk about that”. He never returned. I waited over another hour over 2.5 total. His father came in w/out introducing himself. Was extremely rude and dismissive because I had no driver and live an hour away & declined dilation. He Never explained anything but said he can’t do surgery because I declined. I questioned what surgery he was talking about. It was the absolute worst experience by 2 surgeons I have ever encountered. Every patient deserves care, attention and respect. I left in tears and still have no answers about my serious eye condition. I would never recommend either Dr. Welch.

I went in for the right eye and everyone was so wonderful to me. When taken into the surgical area the nurses were so great and they helped me through the time until I was ready to be moved into surgery. Still everyone was so nice and I must say during this pandemic every step was taken to keep me and themselves safe. I was told I could possibly see colors while they worked on my eye..and I do remember seeing an array of beautiful colors but.. I remember nothing else..felt nothing and next thing I knew I was awake, given instructions and on my way home. During the times up to my surgery Dr. Welch was precise, professional and kind. He answered all of my questions and never got annoyed that I was scared or still asking questions. I had my second eye done a week ago and the same things occurred. Kindness, professionalism, safety, caring. Best of all I can see !! I was seeing 1000 times better the same day of my surgery. A week later …magnificent!! There just isn’t anyone else I

I went to Dr. Damon Welch to have my cataracts removed. I must say that due to (years ago) having lasik surgery done (in another state) that was not so good and then my mother had gotten a eye ulcer after her cataract surgery (many many years ago) it still scared the heck out of me. I know times have changed and equipment and skills have all changed but still… I was downright terrified. I went in ...
