AMAZING DOCTOR!! I have been going to an eye doctor for 23 years and this by far has been the BEST experience!! Edith Weppelmann was an outstanding doctor! One in a million!

I saw her for the first time after beign dealing with a left eye stye for 1 week. 2 days before seeing her I went to South Lake ER due to the stye on left eye and a nurse practitioner ordered me antibiotics drops and erythromycin ointment to no avail. I am a Diabetic with uncontrolled sugar with 7.4 Glycosylated Hbg. I saw Dr. Edith Weppelmann and she diagnosed me with a infected left eyelid stye and show me with pictures 📸 in the computer 🖥 my Condition and took the time to explain everything to me and told me the treatment given in ER was wrong and that I was going to get better quickly with oral antibiotics Keflex 500mg 1 cap pi BID, Heating pads for 15 minutes BID and steroid cream twice a day. She gave me a appointment in 1 week but if I got better to cancel the appointment. Dr. Edith Weppelmann is very humane, friendly, professional, competent, is up to date in all Eye diseases. Will recommend this Optometrist to anyone without hesitation. I give Thanks to God for letting me know this professional and this eye care center that in our opinion is the best in the world.
