Wonderful Doctor , Verify thorough! Also Reffered Lots of people to her and They are pleased as well!
I have so many things to complain about but I will limit it to one BIG issue. They don’t return phone calls. I was to have surgery but I need to cancel now because this office won’t return my surgery center, my insurance, myself and my husband’s phone calls. I have never been treated like this from any doctor that I have seen. I have complained to my insurance company and I really want to change my PCP. But I need to get through this surgery before I can start looking for a new doctor. When you see her In the office she fly’s in and asked a few questions and flew right back out. My husband waited 3 weeks for a prescription to be called in. I don’t know why they can’t return calls.
My name is Herb Rogers. I am 60 years old. Until the age of 60 I did not have a doctor and did not take care of myself. When I turned 60 I decided it was time for me to find a doctor. I began my search. I searched by looking at the photos of many different doctors. When I saw Maria's photo, I saw someone that I felt would be caring and understanding. I was not wrong. When I went in for my first visit, I was in pretty bad shape. I had a hernia, a cyst, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. All of these issues have been addressed and taken care of. I feel ten times better than I did on the day of my first visit. Thank you Dr. Maria Rivera Bonilla!
Her and her staff are terrible, sometimes it’s two to three days till they return your call and sometimes never. It just don’t seem like they care and all they want is your money. You could be dead by the time they get back to you.
Dr. Rivera-Bonilla is a ball of energy. She is detail oriented, direct and to the point, answers questions thoroughly. She works and speaks quickly, but does not make you feel like you're being rushed. Wonderful staff as well. So happy to have found her.
Like the other review, my wife was a transferred patient of Dr. Omeara once she left the practice. After many phone calls that were never returned and hunting down something other than a voicemail, we finally got through to the office to speak with a rude receptionist. My wife needed an emergency prescription refill which the medicine can’t be stopped abruptly. Even though all the lab work was up to date and the patient records are accessible, we were only told that Dr. Rivera would need to see her in person even though nothing has changed. It wouldn’t be so much of an issue if a call was returned to us at some point before it was an emergency. She used to take solace in the fact she found a doctor that cares but this office has gone downhill since Dr. Omeara left. Don’t apologize with a reply to this review. Spend that time helping your patients who rely on you for their well being.
Incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this office and staff. Like the previous commenters, I was transferred to Dr. Rivera-Bonilla unknowingly when my previous primary care doctor left Bond Clinic. One of the main issues with Dr. Bonilla’s office is how difficult it is to even get them to answer the phone. There have been many times when I have spent days calling this office without any luck of getting through. I was finally able to get through to them this morning, and was transferred to the nurse practitioner to speak with her directly, since the reason I was calling was time-sensitive. She assured me that she would speak to Dr. Bonilla and give me a call back before the end of the day. I have waited all day, even called back up to the office 3 times since this morning (which of course they did not answer any time), and still have not received a call. It is now less than an hour until offices close for the day, and the weekend, and Dr. Bonilla and her staff have made it crystal clear, once again, that they have little regard for her patients, their situations, or their concerns. I am absolutely appalled. I am starting to think Dr. Bonilla was not even spoken to, and if she was, what kind of doctor leaves her patients hanging? Without even so much as a phone call back from her office?? I should not feel like I have to pull teeth and hair, and fight office staff, to be seen by my doctor. Dr. Bonilla and her office have made me feel very uncared for, unwelcome, and like a burden more times than one. As I mentioned before, my reasoning for trying to get in touch with Dr. Bonilla was very urgent and time-sensitive. Luckily, after realizing this office had no intentions of getting back to me, I reached out to Bond Clinic’s Urgent Care in Lakeland where they were more than welcoming! I was greeted with a “Oh, honey. We’re so sorry to hear about your situation and definitely have time to see you”. They made an appointment for me right then and there where I was immediately seen by the most helpful and courteous doctor and staff. THAT is how you treat your patients! I’m thankful to see there are still some offices at Bond Clinic whose priority is to take care of their patients. If it wasn’t for the Lakeland office, I don’t know what I would’ve done!
I was transferred to this woman without my knowledge or consent by bond clinic when my pc Dr. Omeara mysteriously left bond. I've had nothing but a bad experience with her and her staff. I have not even been able to get very important prescriptions(that are not supposed to be stopped suddenly e.g. levothryoxin just to name one). She was not concerned about any of my health related issues that Dr. omeara was treating me for and an appointment with her consisted of going over my list of medications even though her nurse had just down the same exact thing. I'm very unhappy and it is negatively affecting my health.
She’s a fantastic doctor, very caring and listening to her patients.
If your a person how doesn't have insurance don't waste your time they don't want your business!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
