Felt she was interested in my situation
Absolutely no concern for the patient. Get them in and get them out and get that money. Many I've talked to have the same feeling. My mother's health means more than her paycheck! There is little to no discussion of follow up care when a diagnosis is made. Just more tests and more office visits. More $$. After 2 years of trying to give this "Dr." the benefit of the doubt, I've changed my mom over to the dr. in the office right next door that comes highly recommended. Unlike this one.
Her time spent with my mother is maybe, 5 minutes tops ever. This last visit which was to go over blood work and talk about her rising blood pressure with concerns about her kidneys failing even more, (BP running very high and an increase in the kidney disease numbers) Dr. McClendon didn't feel the need to be there. The nurse gave her the copy of blood work and didn't even discuss anything else and was left with more questions than answers. She doesn't seem to like any questions being asked and comes off as very short and bothered if you take up too much of her time. I am in the process of finding a doctor for my mom that actually is concerned about her patients and less about her paycheck. Very disappointing for the past year.
Dr. McClendon is a wonderful doctor! I can't say enough about her, her staff and my experience at Bond Clinic.
Did not give patient(husband) the kind of care needed. Did not answer two pages from the hospital. Refused my request for additional physician, two different times. When it was too late, she called in several that she knew would not be able to help him. He needed the help in the beginning....Not at the end, when it was too late... He passed away at under her care. His physician was off duty when all this occured. I reported all this to the hospital, which they did not care. Another specialist offered to help and when I asked her, she very blatantly said NO... she refused to let him help, but as soon as she knew there was no help for him, she waited to call another specialist in that would agree w/her..She was unhappy that she had gotten in trouble because she was too busy to answer her page, not once but two times, and so she wasn't helpful to me when it came to his care. Also, when it was WAY to late, she did call in the other specialist to see him, (which was one of my husband's original doctors that had been seeing him)and he came in to visit, which is a very good smart doctor. But it was too late to do anything to help him. I know several of the hospital staff were very shocked to know that my husband had degraded to the state he was in from when he went into the hospital, and then for him to pass away. She did not care...Stay away from her...more than one person I have come across that has been unhappy with her care. Oh yes, one doctor that offered to me to help in the beginning was released from the hospital staff..WHY ?????
At first she seems very attentive and concerned but after a couple of years I find myself spending more time with her nurse. Every monthly visit I have at her office, she sees me for maybe 2 minutes. I never see her visit the dialysis center like she used to. It just feels like I am another dollar in her pocket.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
