They take to long to see doctor if you have a 10:00 appointment there is 20 other 10:00 appointments
His rude receptionist told me I was 11 mins late and she had to cancel my appointment . there was a traffic jam om Rt 27 that I was in for over 20 mins, I have been coming to him for over 10 years he will make you wait over an hour sometimes, I can't believe this happens but that shows you what a non caring dr, he is .
has been very attentive to any of my problems. I;m glad that he is not a pill pusher, but gets to the problem. He has saved my life several times and I recommend him highly
I have been taking my daughter, Heather Greenleaf to DR. Mathan for about a year now and we love him! He has helped Heather stay out of pain and doesn't give you a hard time if you took awhile to make the appointments with the Specialist he referred you too. He is super easy to talk to and his staff are pleasant as well. I totally recommend this Doctor
The worse doctor I've ever seen in my life! After seeing what I've encountered the past week and all I had went through coming close to death, I was asking him simple questions before my release at heart of Florida because NOTHING that was said to be done was, so when I did his reply was something like Don't come back to this hospital and if you do, don't come see me because all you want is pain medication! Shocked I was! How dare you I said to him and he hurried out the room because he realiz
Went into his office two times in a week for a UTI/Kidney Infection. No urine test just gave me meds. When I called back later that week to say I haven't felt any better he asked to see me again. I asked to change the meds, he sent me to a lab the following day. I don't think he looked at the sample. He told me to drink a lot of water & take AZO pills which I already did before I saw him. I called again Monday (one week later) 3 times & never heard back from him. I went to an urgent care to get the correct meds.. Find out the meds he gave me wouldn't clear up my infection & the reason I was getting headaches so bad was because I have a sinus infection too. The doctor never made eye contact, just gave me an antiboctic and refused to give me anything else to make me better. I'm still fighting it (two weeks later) and I'm finally without a headache from the shot they gave me last night at urgent care. This doctor does NOT pay any attention to his patients & will not return any phone calls. Don't waste your time, I assume this is why I can get an appointment so quickly!!
This doctor was assigned to my father while he was in hospital. He rarely spent more than 2 minutes in the room. Didn't greet anyone, just came into the room to deliver diagnosis or daily update, then answered questions as he backed out of the room. Sometimes I wondered if he had even read the chart. Unbelievable. Didn't follow up with repeated insulin dosage issues, with dire results for my Dad, despite our daily requests for corrections.
great physican
I found Dr. Mathen to be very plesent and professional. He recalled everything I spoke to him about at the hospital when I saw him in his office a week later. His staff was great

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
