My son suffered with chronic ear issues for many years and we had trouble finding a doctor that could help him. I went for a second opinion at Nemours and they sent us straight to Dr. Patni. My son needed multiple surgeries and all were very successful and we can’t thank Dr. Patni enough. He is a brilliant surgeon and a great person and I highly recommend him!

I went to the hospital with a VERY infected ear. My blood work showed infection , puss was oozing and I had a 102* fever. They did a CT that diagnosed mastoiditis ( infection in my ear bone) and a possible cholesteatoma. The hospital ENT recommended Dr. Patni because he said I would need surgery. After looking in my ear, Dr. Patni’s PA saw a cholesteatoma, ordered a follow up CT and said I would need surgery. A few days later, my other ear presented with infection ,so I returned to get help. Dr. Patni had no interest in my history, questioned why the hospital gave me antibiotics even after I explained this to to his assistant , read an unrelated CT from 6 months prior & curtly told me I had eczema. He said he saw no evidence of cholesteatoma & no need to repeat a CT. He advised me to see a dermatologist. I will be getting a second opinion because I feel completely dismissed and fearful of a still present bone infection. The front office staff, Layla , & his PA Farida were excellent. R

I have been seeing Dr Patni for almost 10 years. I have read some of the ridiculous reviews and I really need to question their validity. I have had an ear problems since I was 8 years old. I have had multiple surgeries and no one seems to have a solution. I have seen many doctors and "specialists". No one had even remotely tried to help me with it. I recently went to a "specialist" as a last resort and explained what was going on. He told me there was nothing they could do. When I explained how Dr Patni was dealing with it, he said and I quote, "if he is able to help me with this then he is a Rockstar"! I have to agree. At least Dr Patni will brainstorm with me and has even worked with me to reach out to research hospitals to see if maybe there might be a cutting edge solution. People talk about bedside manner and attitude. I have never had an issue with the staff, or with Dr. Patni. I don't go to him to hear his stand-up routine or swap stories. I go to him to take care of the issues I am having with my ear. Again I don't really understand the reviews. I have always found both him and his staff to be genuine and caring. I wouldn't read the reviews, I would go see him myself if you are reading and draw your own conclusion. Thanks Dr. Patni and Staff.

Rude on the phone. $300 for a cash pay visit only with a PA not even a doctor. Short with me would not answer questions was very demanding and overall difficult to deal with. Found another physician within 10 minutes I had a completely different attitude and a reasonable price schedule for people who do not have insurance like myself. 0/10

I find this arrogant dr. Incompetent. He is rude and changes diagnosis constantly. I have since found a much better ear doctor in Winter Park.

My child beginning at age 5 became a patient of Dr. Patni. We’ve been down the path, that really no parent wants to walk. Our son was diagnosed with a tumor in his inner ear. A year after removal, it came back. Dr. Patni has walked this path with us through all sorts of twists and unexpected turns. He has listened and respected my view point, even when I may not agree. He truly is open to hearing what you have to say, and will answer endless questions. He is wonderful with my son, so much so, that literally no other physician is allowed to look into my child’s ears. Dr. Patni is gentle, soft spoken and kind. It shines through with his bedside manor.
