Alfredo Gonzalez's Online Review Report Card

Beware, I went in for a consultation, first time ever going. I already know,and informed them I have a deviated septum, my previous clinic told me, Long story short, I was charged $571 for the consultation which they claimed they did a endoscopy, bunch of bs. Mind you I have insurance. Paid $40 at time of visit, now I have to pay another $110. Taking advantage of people. Ridiculous.

Horrible service. Their staff is atrocious towards their patients. The front desk lady at winter park office was completely rude with her approach and I do not feel the need to ever come here again.

I really hope they notify patients of their new late policy. I first started as a patient probably 20 years ago. I arrived 7 minutes late to my most recent appointment and was told he would not see me for the appointment because I was late and the exact cut off time is 7 mins. Ok, so I understand offices having particular rules on times, but to not notify established patients of such a change and then give 0 grace or understanding. I asked for the receptionist to ask the dr directly and she would not and said it was his rule. She said it was because he allots 15 mins for each patient so 7 mins late is missing pretty much 50% of the appointment and that’s the line in the sand he draws. They even send reminder texts about the appointment but don’t take that opportunity to notify patients of the change or to ask patients to arrive 15 mins early which is really what they should do. That’s what other physicians do with tight turn arounds but then again, no one else was in the waiting room, so this did not seem to be an issue of running a high volume of appointments in a short period of time. Truly hope they communicate policy changes with their patients in the future.

How did they come up with this number? I have never heard of such a thing. I asked why this isn’t made known to the patients, and was told it’s their late policy and they don’t tell the patients. What? Obviously this office doesn’t care about their patients if they are completely fine with us driving all the way over to them just to turn us away for a late policy they don’t even tell us about. Would not recommend honestly I payed a ton of money for them to never send my prescription to the pharmacy. The appointment lasted less then a minute and the way this doctor talks to it’s patients is extremely rude. He does speak Spanish but it appears like having to speak it bothers him. I would recommend people to go somewhere else

Got an appointment and got there at the appointment time. I got there from Kissimmee and just because I didn’t got 15 before the appointment to do paperwork the receptionist told me a had to reschedule. No one at the waiting area and she wanted to reschedule.

Dr Gonzalez is extremely knowledgable, gentle, and will remember who you are. He has a calming manner and a sense of humor that is reassuring. The office staff is smart, always available, and welcoming. The office is pristine. In Dr. Gonzalez's hands, I know that I always get a carefully considered diagnosis and the matching treatment.
