AAIACF received 77.3% positive feedback, with patients praising the knowledgeable and caring doctors, especially Dr. Anderson, and the helpful staff. However, 22.7% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing poor communication, long wait times, and lack of empathy from administrative staff. Overall, the practice is valued for its quality care, yet it needs enhanced communication and better patient management.ScoreDoc Score

If I could give zero stars I would. This practice is horrendous. I don’t know how long I had to wait for an appointment for them to just throw me around and leave me in the office for I don’t know how many hours my son is three years old and they expected him to be a certain way and he was scared and the doctor was rude to him. On top of all of that I had to make like 25 different appointments to finally get my results And nobody ever calls to confirm the appointment they just automatically expect for you to make the appointment even though it’s like three months out. And finally, I got the results I needed, and my son was allergic to an insane amount of things and I never got the list of stuff I was never sent anything to help him and everyone just sucks in this office including the Front Desk stuff. Terrible. I do not recommend and they never answer their phone and when you get there they are not even busy.
Terrible. Understaffed. They never answer their phones. I left them in Feb 2023 and I have been trying to get them to transfer records since then. No luck, so I can't get allergy shots at my new provider (Oct. 2023).
I urge anyone who may be considering care at AAIACF to strongly reconsider. They are chronically low staffed. The turnover is incredibly high. It’s astounding the frequency at which they are closing locations making it incredibly difficult to get weekly/monthly allergy shots. They do not even notify patients of office closures.
Not a very good practice. They sent a simple prescription to a fraudulent online pharmacy. They don't answer the phones well and have to worst hours even for Dr. standards.
It took me a while to finally write something, however, I believe it deserves to be mentioned because I’m quite frankly tired. I urge you to reconsider before stepping foot into any of AAICF offices. I’ve been Dr. Anderson’s patient since 2019, and I’ve never had issues with a doctors office until I have came across this one. I have worked in the healthcare field myself since a teenager and I have to say, this is the absolute worst medical office I have seen in my decades of experience. I would suggest for anyone to find a different office, if you care about your health and well being. The medical staff unprofessionalism and lack of empathy are reflective of poor judgement during the hiring process. It is very difficult to get in touch with anyone for assistance on the phone lines. It’s been an uphill battle to get my medications authorized and/or an appointment with a provider. Finally, I have decided a month ago to switch provider offices and within 1 month, all my medication/provider issues were solved. Let’s just say, the frustration is real, because I’ve been calling without anyone picking up for more than a month. After using different options at every call, and finally talking to various employees AND signing a medical release form to have ALL of my medical records sent over to my new provider. I am STILL holding on to the words “I will send the records right now” WITHOUT my medical records present at my new provider. Please do yourself a favor, do appropriate research and find elsewhere who will care for your well-being. P.S: the only MA who truly cared was Marlene. I have not been able to get a hold of her. So I will always thank her for doing her job as a medical assistant and caring for patients.
We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but office management / communication and mishaps with our infants lab reading have led us to change practices. There are clearly growing pains / dysfunction occurring behind scenes that put our son’s well being at risk. Here are just some of our interactions… 1. Our first visit we were not notified the Oviedo office was closing. It wasn’t until that morning I discovered our appointment was changed (many confusing confirmations of appointment with changing dates without our approval or request to change). This is after waiting months for an appointment (which is common in the field right now for pediatric allergists- so missing an appointment could lead to more months waiting to tackle food allergies). 2. Sent us for blood work for an infant with too many allergens to be tested for weight of child. Attempted to call from the hospital we drove to for draw to adjust the order, they didn’t call back for two days so we had to reschedule the draw. We feel a doctor should know the labs they’re requesting are based on weight and adjust the order and separate it accordingly- the lab legally cannot do so. 3. Missed reading the second page of the blood work for food allergies and told us our son was only allergic to one thing - he had a life threatening allergy to select nuts … I questioned the call I got from the nurse (we had seen the second allergic reaction) and thankfully so … they missed the second page of the paperwork. 4. You have to bring in crushed nuts instead of the office having serums or the foods on hand for testing. I’ve dealt with food allergies my whole life I never have seen this and there is poor direction / preparation on items is unclear (egg particularly). We were thorough but this is not common as non professionals can easily cross contaminate (I imagine even more so for people that haven’t dealt with allergies). 5. Our son was obviously not happy with being skin tested. The one nurse got flustered and visibly overwhelmed by a child crying and walked out for another nurse to handle (who was great with kids by the way). The walkout and flustered demeanor towards an upset infant stunned us and did not leave us feeling confident- thank God for their other nurse who had a child with allergies. 6. The doctor never came in / met with us to read skin test results. We also have come to find they use a rating system not followed by other allergists. 7. We asked multiple times for test results and labs to be on the portal for our records and they are not. Communication is awful - they can’t keep track of records that we now would like passed onto a new practice so my one year old had to re do skin testing (because again they don’t upload these things or add thorough visit notes to their system). They even left a voicemail confusing the records request from a new practice vs my message a week prior that labs were not uploaded to the system. 8. We came to find Dr. Anderson is leaving the practice (per the front office staff) now after all of this, which makes us feel there is even more going on that led to our poor treatment. I write this in hopes that these practices and functions of the office are evaluated and made better for the safety of patients. Making an appointment, having it met / being notified of change of location and getting proper lab results when dealing with life threatening allergies (especially for a child that is too young to communicate) should be common practice/ not something you need to go above and beyond to have honored .
Myself and also two other members of my family see Dr. Anderson. We are extremely happy with her and her staff. She shows exceptional care for her patients. When I first started to see her I was having chronic sinus infections, and asthma symptoms, within just a few months she had me feeling so much better. She's the best!
I arrived early or my appointment; was met with a smile by the ladies checking me in and was taken in for my appointment early! Where ones that happen anymore?!!
Communication is horrible, and they use a third party for billing that is even worse.
Dr. Anderson is amazing, caring and the best . She has helped for the last 9 years and she is worth my 45 minute drive. She also does children and our Daughter likes her too. Very caring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
