An infectious disease “specialist” that doesn’t recognize biofilms as something important or work anything into her treatments in regards to them. If you like waiting an hour in a lobby for 5-7 minutes with the Dr she is the one for you. Also only at this location two days a week so good luck getting an appointment on short notice.

I highly recommend Dr. Shaw inpatient at Advent Health and outpatient at her practice. I met Dr. Shaw inpatient, and she is very kind and compassionate yet somehow super thorough. Being inpatient is hard and doctors can be very dismissive, but Dr. Shaw made sure I was okay an helped me through some challenging times. She has become part of my care team outpatient for treatment of recurrent infections due to being immunocompromised. Not only is she a fantastic doctor, but her staff is amazing. My home health nurses, and agency loves working with her office as they always respond with respect, compassion, and in a timely fashion. Anytime I mention Dr. Shaw’s name in the Orlando medical community, people immediately start talking about how amazing she is. It’s no coincidence that physicians, nurses, pharmacies, and patients have great experiences with her. I am disappointed to see some of these reviews. Please keep in mind that specialists round at hospitals during the day, they are on call all night, and have a practice to run. Just because she may be in a hurry or be handling a couple patients at one time doesn’t mean she is not paying attention to you. At the end of the day, if you have some kind of infectious disease, Dr. Shaw is the best she will advocate for you and follow up to make sure you are okay. I have had some close calls with the man upstairs and Dr. Shaw is always there to help.

Dr.Shah thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful concern in regard to my husband John's health and providing him with excellent medical and physical care. Marginal so far, reserve right to change review if that changes. Currently on very simple / unvaried antibiotics to the point that it is just encouraging resistance. The doctor seems wholly unaware of biofilms and why they matter. Didn’t read over my health records what so ever before and only after I insisted during my appointment which she tried to end in 15 minutes. I wqs t having that and saw that the relevant records were copied. Long wait times both to get an appointment and once in the lobby for said appt. Mediocre service and short appointments along with high costs relative to the time / quality. She only spends two days a week in the WP office so availability of appointments is laughably bad. She could be a good doctor it seems but does not go the extra mile. More concerned with mask policies and vaccines than what people are coming to her for.

I have been seeing Dr. Archana Shah over the past few years as needed for stubborn infections that I get from time to time that need the attention of an infectious disease MD. She and her staff have been very kind & helpful; always there for me when I need them as well as working with my health issues to find the type of bacteria and the right antibiotic that I can take to get well. I very much appreciate the care and attention she and her staff provide to me as their patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone who need the services of an infectious disease doctor. Calls to make an appointment have been easy. Any questions I may have while under their care have been answered with a return call in a timely manner. When I needed a referral to a specialist to assist in getting further co-care her staff has also been very helpful in finding one who can see me sooner than later. I am thankful to Dr. Shah & her staff for the care they always provide to me as their patient

Dr. Shah has been my doctor for years. She always listens to my concerns. She will list to me when discussing treatment options. I got sick over the weekend and called the after hours line; she called me back within 5 minutes herself.

I was dying and my dr wanted to send me to hospice to be comfortable to die. Dr shaw stepped in and literally saved my life and never gave up on me she worked day and night I would see her at 2 am in the hospital and again at 6 am and here I am living a good life moved from NJ to FL just as she did and living out my life in great weather. she's a caring and loving dr and I Wish I lived closer to have her again but im 2 hours south. I trusted her with my life and I wouldn't be alive today without her.

Dr Shah and her the am are not only very professional, but most pleasant and helpful, ready to assist, answer questions, ensure that patients get all the help needed. I highly recommend Dr Shah.

Dr. Shah is a wonderful doctor. Twice, I have suffered a serious injury to my hand. Twice, she has saved my hands. She has a wonderful demeanor. She goes the extra mile to make sure that my wounds heal. I trust her completely!
