Dr. Dobson has a great "bedside" manner she communicates well with kindness and adjusts her explanations well to the patient's ability to understand. Her clinical abilities were top-notch.

I really wish they allowed negative stars, or a button warning people. I have been going to this practice for years. Dr. Patni has been making custom P.E. tubes that stay in much longer than normal for me for years. I went in for a standard ear infection. Dr. Patni was not available. I was assigned a PA. I explained that I had ear pain, internal drainage, etc. It was pretty much a standard ear infection for me. The PA looked in my ears and said she needed to bring in one of the doctors. Dr. Dobson who I have never met prior came in. I tried to explain to her the tube in my left ear was extremely long and to please leave it alone. She argued that it was almost out. She then pulled at it after I asked her not to twice. I could tell by her reaction she realized she had made a bad decision. She then I believe tried to push tube back in. I asked her if she had pulled the tube out, she said no. I instantly knew she was not being honest with me because of the vertigo I was experiencing. So on top of not listening to me, she lied to me. I then went home and experienced the worst vertigo and pain I have had in many many years. Dr. Patni was on vacation and I didn't want to take a chance on getting Dobson again. I kept feeling a sharp stabbing pain in my left ear. I was unable to lie on my left side because of the pain in my ear. I was on an antibiotic but tried to use the drops they had given me in the past for infections. The pain in my ear canal was becoming unbelievably painful. I tried to look at my ear passage using two mirrors and realized Dr. Dobson has left a 3/4in custom PE tube dangling off my ear drum in my ear canal. This was the same PE tube I asked her not to remove, that Dr. Patni had placed prior barely 3 months ago. The tube is just under 3/4 of an inch long and was actually sticking out of my ear passage. I was able to free it from my ear canal. It apparently must have been laying in my ear canal like a plastic needle. I only had minimal bleeding and thank God I have major pain tolerance so I could remove it. A lot of people write reviews and it sounds like sour grapes, the doctor wasn't nice, or had a poor bedside manor. This review is none of those. This is a doctor who didn't listen to their patient when they tried to warn them not once, but twice. This is a doctor who did what they wanted to do rather than look at my chart, and then lied to cover up what they had done. To me this could have been taken care of if she had just been honest in the first place. She could have finished removing the tube and I could have just followed up with Dr. Patni. Instead she lied. Personally would never go back to Dr. Dobson.

Very rude. Avoid and find someone who will listen to your symptoms, treat you properly.

Initial exam for throat biopsy. On time being seen . Staff was excellent. Dr is very professional and explained what she was doing. It was evident to another health professional she knew what she was doing and dit it well. Could not have been more pleased with the staff, Doctor and experience with my procedure.

The doctor is great but it is almost impossible to schedule an appointment. I’m on my 3rd day of trying - no one calls you back.

Dr. Dobson is a very talented surgeon with communication skills. Her level of caring is obvious and her sense of humor takes the edge off a stressful experience. I can't find enough good things to say about her.

Very disapointed of careless staff attatude when i tried to drop off a CTScan ordered by Dr Dobson. They told me to make a apointment first...i guess this is to milk me and my insurance out of hard earned mony. THAT IS AFTER ALL THE BOTOM LINE.

At her MetroWest office, she was an absolute miracle worker, fixing a blockage that made me completely deaf in my right ear. A hospital couldn't do it in two days, she did it in five minutes and may have saved my career for all I know. I can't say enough good things about this person. Absolutely fantastic care!
