List of Fatan Jaafar's Reviews
I found Dr Jaafar by searching for highly rated pediatricians. At first, I was impressed. However, my experiences in the last year have been sub-par. The website is set up so that you have to ask queries through email which they never answer. I also tried to reach them directly through the patient portal just to get some shot records on 2/16/21 for my son's VPK. I never got a response, and I wrote again in April. 2 weeks later, still no response. I finally got someone on the phone as they have weird office hours and never return calls, either, if your child isn't having an emergency. She said "answering email queries has not been our priority" in the past year. Really? Then why is your website set up to ONLY take email questions and tell people that is how to correspond with you? And WHY do you refer every patient to use the patient portal if you are not even reading the messages when they come in from there? This is crazy and very bad behavior for a doctor's practice. Stay away!

Also, we rarely see the doctor and on my son's 3 year check-up they gave me a sub doctor w/o telling me. He knew nothing about my child and did not want to or care. I asked why they didn't give me the choice to re-schedule if Dr Jaafar could not be there. They acted like why should I care who I saw, and said they didn't need to inform me even though this is a one doctor practice. I even constacted office about this issue in writing--never had a response from the staff or Dr Jaafar. Very poor service.
Dr Jaafar spent talking with us about 30' before starting my daughter's physical check up. She was great at explaining different vaccines needs and great at listening our concerns. Dr. JafaaRobert was very carrying and we loved how attentive she was. We have never experienced a doctor that would take the time to sit and talk with us for this long. I wished I would have her as a pediatrician since my daughter'sdaughter's 1st year of age.
I took my 12 year old daughter for the first time to Dr Jaafar for her annually check up. Dr. Jaafar sat with us before staring the check up and we spoke for about 20'-30' about health history. Dr. Jaafar was very carrying, a great listener and great at explaining different health related topics. My daughter is a healthy 12 year old just going through puberty it was helpfull to have Dr Jafaan answering her questions. Excellent doctor I wished we would had her with us since my daughter first year

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
