List of Harish Patil's Reviews
Excellent, professional and warm. He takes wonderful care of his patients and gives them lots of attention.
My family thought he was such a good doctor because his bedside manner was excellent. Silly silly us. Dr. Patil put a family member on a drug for Afib that has a double black box warning, is a drug of last resort for Afib, has a high percentage of severe side effects, including death. When starting this drug (Amiadarone), healthcare professionals are supposed to start it in a hospital setting, provide extensive information to the patient about potential side effects and patients should be monitored for liver, thryroid, lung issues. None of this ever happened and of course, we didn't know this until said patient almost died. Even worse, when "the patient" was hospitalized twice in a month with "mysterious symptoms", Dr. Patil even saw her in the hospital (as well as at least 3 times in his office in a 4 month period) and never connected the dots. Heck, we even provided him with daily BP/heart rates readings (which were very, very low) and he still had no clue. Fortunately, Mom can now read, write, feed herself again, although she is confined to a wheelchair and needs 24/7 care. Her thyroid was almost completely destroyed and still has the capacity of developing lung toxicity. Had to click on a star for this to be posted if I could would give a negative 1,000 stars.
He is kind, patient, and professional. Dr.Patil has been me and my sons cardiologist for 5 years. We thank God for him. The Holcomb's
Over prescribed a very dangerous drug, Amiodarone and did not discuss any of the potential side effects and 3 times in 6 months never tied the rapid rapid decline of health to the drug. An internist and a neurologist were the ones who suspected the drug was causing the horrible rapid decline in health and recommended stopping the drug. Thank goodness!
Dr. tried to get me to come back 4 times!!! 1 for the consultation-again for an echocardiogram, another for the treadmill and finally the 4th for a follow and results. When I asked why I needed so many appts-the admin lied and said my insurance wouldn't pay for one visit and I called my insurance and we both spoke to her and she backtracked and said the office doesn't make appts on the same day for a bunch of different reasons and was RUDE to BOOT! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
