I was Dr. Sackel's nurse for 3 years and I can say that in the 15 years I've been a nurse I've NEVER worked with such a caring, compassionate, detail oriented, funny physician every! He knew each and every one of his patients by memory. He made sure no stone was left unturned when it came to their care and treatment! Once he was semi-retired he technically didn't have to round anymore at the hospital and would still go just to check on his patients that he knew were admitted. He was also an excellent teacher! THE ABSOULUTE BEST in my book!

Dr. Howard Sackel is the best doctor I have ever had!He is compassionate, caring and listens to everything I say. . . No detail escapes his attention. He wants all his patients to have the best care and the best outcome possible.He monitors my medications and adjusts them accordingly. I was hospitalized in March, 2018, and his follow-up care is exceptional!My lab levels have been unsteady and Dr. Sackel very patiently goes over my prescription dosages & diet regularly!He is an amazing physician!

Dr. Sackel is the best doctor ever!!!! I've been a patient of his for 11 years. I can't think of one time I've seen him and he was not smiling. He takes the time to really listen and is very helpful. He knows nephrology and is excellent at what he does. The wait time others have described is because this is such a rare specialty in the Orlando area. The number of people with kidney problems is growing tremendously. Nephrology and Associates are doing what they can to accommodate the many patients they have, I don't think it's an issue of Dr. Sackel time management, he's simply trying to cater to everyone's needs. He has had several nurses and I have liked many of them, but man oh man..... The last one he had before the current one was by far the absolute BEST!!!! I can't even describe to you how great she was. I understand the was moving, but man do I hate she had to go.

I've been seeing Dr. Sackel for over 20 years. Although you may have to wait a while in the office, he is so worth it! He really cares about his patients and is one those special doctors that puts his patients above everything else. He is very thorough and focused on each person. He or his nurse always call me back right away if I have a question outside of my appointment time.

In my opinion, Dr. Sackel is the BEST Nephrologist!!!! I've been seeing here for about 8 years now. He is so kind and helpful. He has had several nurses to come and go, but the one he has now, Julie. The girl is AWESOME. She is very attentive. She answers and returns calls immediately. Both she and Dr. Sackel are Wonderful!! I wouldn't change Dr's for anything in the world.
